"Hired Mike in July for kitchen remodeling, custom cabinets, floors in the kitchen, living room and dining room, counters, tile, etc after a flood incident. Completion was promised in August. Here we are in November, and still not half done. I have been out of my home for 4 months. I'm not happy with the errors and delays. So far, only cabinets have been installed and yesterday, floors were attempted to be installed and all scratched due to rocks on his employees' knee pads on installation. This was just not acceptable so i demanded replacement. I still can't figure out why drywall is not done before putting in new flooring. A little backward if you ask me. Seems like staffing issues. But why should a customer suffer. I'll update or change my review when my job is actually completed and done properly. Until then, I'm extremely disappointed. Maybe if I was someone important, my job would have been priotitized. Update 1 year later: Apex was removed from my job after 7 months of numerous delays, excuses, poor labor, business, and structural practices. He had no staff and even had his family in trying to complete tasks. Please note very few of his staff are licensed. The job was left undone when Apex was removed, and the remaining work was contracted out and completed by other service providers. We were left to clean the mess that was left which took hours. There are still issues in my flooring being corrected today from the work that was originally done by this company. My floor was not leveled after they ripped it apart and now my floor has waves. Below you will see a photo taken this week which is a year after the flooring was laid now with gaps throughout the flooring. Again, we are hiring another company to fix his employees errors. Imagine these gaps are after the new floor was installed and replaced twice. I am truly surprised they are still in business. This was a large expensive project in which i feel he saw an opportunity to make money not please the customer. I definitely do not recommend this company. Don't let the nice personality on initial contact fool you into signing anything."

"I have used Mike on a couple of projects. He was always working to get it done right and on time. During the peak of the Covid problems, there were some delays. He caught it and so did some of his employees. Outside of those issues, he was b punctual and worked hard to get it done on time and with quality work."

"I hired Apex to do a remodel of a home I bought because talking to Mike, the principal, I liked his intelligence and the way he spoke about the project and the details that he went into. The project is not completed yet but so far everything is good, the work is first rate, and I'm very pleased. Mike is very upfront and easy to work through issues with. His crew are nice people. So, since it's not finished, I figured I'd give it four stars. I'll be back when the work is over for my final review. Pleased thus far is the short of it. In the end, the work was hurried and poorly done. This was not a rush job. It took four months. My stove fan was not installed correctly and my kitchen sink will require new plumbing. I've been in for four months. This is unfortunate since it began well. After reading Apex's response and the latest repair/ finish I've had to do I decided to add an addendum to my review. The plumbing code requires toilet bases be sealed, mine are not; to have a kitchen drain that drained properly, $600; obviously, there was no "walk through" when the work was completed; I paid for a cleaning of my home after the work was finished because the popcorn sealings were removed but three weeks later I pulled something off the top shelf of my closet and it came with "popcorn" debris. Idisnt discover this a at one time. These things seemed pretty obvious to me if a walk-through had been done. I had faith I hired someone who would treat the job properly."

"Fantastic response time! From initial contact, waiting for insurance to approve work and completion, within 1 months time to get my floors done (after being told by 1 company they couldn't even start for 8 weeks). Mike was been a pleasure to work with through this whole process."
