"This review is very negative one, based on my interactions with Snow Jensen & Reece (SJR) over the past 14 months. The matter at issue is a trust, which initially had two trustees, brother and sister; the beneficiaries were the six children of the sister. The sister was the first to pass away. When the brother passed away, his widow became the trustee. SJR supplied a trust inventory to all the beneficiaries approximately three months after SJR was retained: the accounting was incorrect. We received an updated on a bank account balance, but at that time requested bank statements in order to confirm the accuracy of the information provided. That request was not fulfilled. After four months, my attorney at ProvenLaw, sent a letter to SJR requesting an accounting; two days later, Mr. Morby of SJR met with the executor, and assured me that the information would be delivered shortly. That assurance was offered in late July 2023; as of December 2023, beneficiaries have yet to receive the needed information. SJR have demonstrated that they are unresponsive and incommunicative, which has made it necessary for me to spend extra money and time having my attorney contact them on my behalf. Their behavior suggests an unwillingness to act in the best interest of the beneficiaries. The timeline of events is as follows: October 3, 2022: Requested trust inventory. January 18, 2023: Received trust inventory; Stated trustee will you apprised of each step of the trust administration; advised to have legal representation address any inaccuracies. March 13, 2023: An inaccuracy was noticed and then confirmed. Trust documents sent with incorrect bank amount ($1,000 instead of $26,000) and undisclosed additional bank account. March 24, 2023: Requested current trustee to provide bank statements; none received. July 24, 2023: Attorney sent a letter requesting an accounting. July 26, 2023: Mr.Morby's response was meeting with the executor, with an assurance to obtain and deliver the requested information. Bottom line - if you prefer a lack of transparency and hate your family, consider hiring Snow Jensen & Reece. However, if you seek reliable and trustworthy legal counsel, go to ProvenLaw."
