"Is there any household emergency that causes as much stress as plumbing issues? Especially 2 days before Thanksgiving! Our toilets, sinks, bathtubs all backed up! Husband out of town so I called “plumber X” who sent 2 guys out for $90 only to tell me that they couldn’t determine the problem without using a camera into the lines. They would rent a camera for $400 cash from me, then add their labor to that. No guarantees! Because it could be a tree root in our plumbing, or even some major issue under our driveway! They left. I called my husband who then remembered the name of the company who had come out once before: Westar. They said what we were told didn’t sound right so they sent Edgar and Chris out within 20 minutes. They isolated the obstruction in the main sewer line, and just like that, our plumbing problem is fixed! Needless to say we highly recommend Westar Plumbing!!!!"

"I haven't seen such old fashioned (meaning great) customer service values in a long time! I had a water softener installed 3 years ago. When it started leaking I pulled out the warranty which stated that if it was placed in the sun the warranty was invalid, well they had placed it in the sun! I called and found out the business had changed hands, but instead of arguing with me they made good on what the previous owner should have done, they replaced the softener at no charge AND built me a shelter to keep it out of the sun, also at no charge. Amazing customer service values, I'd recommend them to anyone!"

"i called Westar Plumbing services co. mid morning on 03/05/2021 to request services for a leaking water heater, they sent a tech out that morning. while the tech was on site, they gave me a quote & helped me figure out what i needed to do for my insurance company to take care of the repair. I paid for the diagnostic visit and the technician left. Upon calling my insurance company I found out I had to take care of payment and scheduling myself. I called Westar back that same day and they had the tech return that same day to replace my water heater. I paid my bill. 2 days later after dealing with my insurance company I find out I need documentation to process my reimbursement for what I paid. I called Westar on 03/07/2021 to request the detailed documentation requested by my insurance company and they provided that to me that same day. On 03/10/2021 my insurance company requested that I have Westar Plumbing services co. call them to give them more information on the service call they did at my home. I emailed Westar Plumbing services co. and asked them to call my insurance company to help me with my reimbursement claim. Westar Plumbing services co. was already paid in full by me, they completed their obligation to my service call, they already provided me with 2 written receipts & a digital invoice requested by my insurance company... they did not need to call my insurance company or help me any more with my reimbursement claim BUT they did call my insurance company and provided them with what they needed to process my reimbursement claim AND they emailed me back to let me know that they did that. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Westar Plumbing services co. to do work at my home and I appreciate the extra steps they have taken to help me not only fix my water heater issue in a quick & timely manner but also what they have done to help me get my reimbursement."

"We had a leak in our bathtub drain. The drain was replaced. (Holes cut in wall, floors need replacing, the whole 9.) A new stopper was put in our tub. The next time I used the bathtub, I noticed the stopper didnt hold water. 2 months later, I called Westar to look at my toilet and asked for a new stopper to be put in my tub while they were here. They charged me for the stopper! They installed a defective one to begin with! The plumber was aware that they had installed the defective stopper. Still he charged me. He looked at our toilet and said that parts needed to be ordered. I called the office the next day to make sure parts were ordered. The lady that answered said she had ordered, but had no estimate for day of delivery or price. How can you order something without knowing the price??? Also she couldnt tell me how much money that I had paid was actually for the stopper, just that I was charged for parts. But it was not parts that were being ordered for my toilet. I would need to pay that still. 3 weeks later, I had had enough. I called Above All Plumbing. They immediately came out and REPLACED my entire toilet for $80. I will absolutely never use Westar again."
