"Opened a new CD account. Clerk handling the transaction didn't communicate well. Took funds out of the wrong account to fund the CD, and wrong amount. Clerk had to call corporate to fix the transaction and I somehow paid $100 more than originally planned. First time this has happened to me at Chartway. Hopefully it won't happen again."

"Taking the title from Wells Fargo, Chartway has proven to be the worst financial institution I've ever experienced. They recently decided to go ahead and convert my dormant, zero-balance, no-fee checking acct to one with monthly fees without my permission; first notifying me by notice of a negative balance. I'll opt to not continue into what would become a critical onslaught; suffice it to say that in the ways Southwest Community Federal Credit Union was great...they are not."

"Just tried to make a payment through the automated system. Voice says to say or enter phone number, I entered it, then it says "I can't hear you, please say something or this call will end" I said help, phone hangs up. Please please please fix your phone payment system Or at least fix your website for easy payment. It's frustrating I don't even want to make a payment today!"

"I went in to inquire about moving my vehicle loan to Chartway at 2:30 pm 12/27/2021. At 4:15 pm the same day my loan was already processed and a check in hand. The interest rate was lower than quoted as well! A shout out to Kayden and Fred for making this happen! It's experiences like this that have kept me at the same credit union since 1988....a few name changes of course. Great job!"

"Great staff at the local level trying their best to work for a company that obvioiusly has very little connection with customer service in our area. Aweful customer service at the parent company level. When contacting them several times for a seemingly simple problem, they were dismissive and not helpful with several important questions I had about setting up an account. Sad! I went to a local bank and set up exactly the same type of account in a matter of about 10 minutes!"
