"Not a good primary care. Total insurance scam."

"My rating is based purely on scheduling, which is horrible. The girl that scheduled my appointment said "Your appointment time is 12:30, but be there a half hour early." This girl, which I can only describe as a brat full of attitude, said I should be there by noon, which is the time the office closes for lunch. When I called back explaining to her that she said to be here a half hour early, and she argued with me. The level of unprofessionalism by this place is unreal. I received no appointment notification, email, or call about my appointment. The conversation with this scheduler that just argued, gave attitude, and wanted off the phone gave me such a negative experience that I advise people go elsewhere until they have new and courteous staff."

"Wow, no wonder all the reviews are so bad for this group. I just had my first experience with them and I will be finding another medical group to work with. Very unaccomminating and unwelcoming. My experience was basically the same as Jacob Campbell that he shared 8 months ago."

"Experience with Dr. Babel and staff Initial visit ended in diagnosis, being told that the visit would end in treatment that they carry. The dr returned to the room to say that they he was mistaken and they do not carry this treatment in office, it would have to be ordered. We scheduled a follow up appointment for treatment to allow time for the medication to be ordered. We decided to call the day before our visit just to ensure this med was now in the office, medical assistant confirmed it was there and would be administered by the dr. You can imagine my frustration to arrive to this appointment, and NO MED! A complete waste of time and money. Dr. Babel then said he would be calling this med (injections) into our pharmacy instead. More than a week later, and we are still waiting for a pre-authorization to be sent by the doctor, despite our constant communication and request for one in order to receive the med. Today’s phone call ended with the medical assistant explaining the dr “didn’t know what codes to use”, so he didn’t submit the form to our insurance. And she also stated that their practice typically doesn’t submit pre-authorization forms, “because it’s a lot of work for the doctors”. I couldn’t advise more strongly against receiving care here. Their is an evident lack of care or compassion for the patient, combined with an equally obvious amount of inability to operate knowledgeably and competently."

"Fine place with friendly knowledgeable staff. But the desert grove group has ASININE and way too cumbersome ways to pay bills, make referrals, or contact your local office. That nonsense far outweighs the good."
