"I had small expectations of this campground way out in the middle of nothing. However, given my experience with AZ State Parks you cant go wrong. This campground is immaculate with beautiful views, impeccable facilities and cream of the crop Ranger folks. It was quiet and peaceful The lake is awesome with a nice boat ramp on Cholla Rd. Wildlife galore, birds, burrows, coyotes. I made another reservation for next year, it's that nice!! Try a small side trip to Wayside Oasis bar and cafe for lunch, awesome food, good for kids, dog friendly on the patio too."
