"I ran into this environmental education center while walking my dog at the Veteran’s Oasis Park and it was so cool! Never knew it was part of the park. They had so many interesting diverse displays of the desert wildlife and I really enjoyed seeing them all. I even got to meet and admire Bob, a Sonoran gopher snake. How cool is that? It was really nice to watch the kids enjoying different displays. They had the cutest stonewares for purchase too for only $12 each. I learned they offer a lot of free family friendly events from educational classes, guided nature hikes, and even live music. Definitely worth a visit!"
"A very clean, spacious, and well maintained nature center that is free to the public. Features local flora and fauna exhibits, information on native species, and functional meeting rooms for the community. Edited Oct 2023 - The Chandler nature center is still one of the nicest and most well maintained parks and rec facility around. Would recommend for not just the center itself but walking trail and park"
"It's such a beautiful park right inside the valley. Great visitors center with live creepy crawlies. Mounted wildlife life and a play center for kids. The lake is clean with lots of people fishing. So much to see."
