JP’s Comedy Club

"I had the pleasure and honor to headline at JP’S Comedy Club this weekend. As a comedian who’s been in the industry for almost 30 years and have performed all over the world and I must say I had some of the best shows of my career there. The owner (Jim Perry) who’s also a comedian, ex Navy and retired police officer runs a tight ship along with his lovely wife Janelle and their two sons. He takes pride in booking A-list comedians who garner big laughs. They did a great job designing the intimate showroom with great sound, lights and a cool ambience. The crowds in Gilbert were amazing and I had so much fun! They offer beer, wine, seltzer’s, sodas and snacks but don’t worry there are several restaurants within a short walking distance from the venue if you want to eat before or after the show. If you’re looking for a good laugh with your friends, family or date night I highly recommend going to JP’S. I can’t wait to come back and please support this amazing family owned business."

"My husband and I went here for the first time last night. It was a very small and intimate club. When you walk in, you're taken to the check-in/drink counter where you get your first drink and a drink token, then you're seated. We sat in the front row, which was very close to the stage. I liked that we were so close but my husband wasn't the biggest fan of that. The club was very clean, the bathroom was really nice too. Most of the comedians we saw on stage were funny and had a great vibe. The owner took the stage a few times and he ended up being one of my favorites, which surprised me. This was the first time we'd been to a comedy club in Arizona, the last time was when we were still in Cali. It was a lot of fun. It's a small business, which makes it feel very cozy and homey and it's obvious that they care a lot about the guest experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and we're both looking forward to going back, we're already planning our next trip."

"It was my first time at the open mic at JP’s Comedy Club last night and it was so much fun! As a comedian almost a year in, I’m really bummed I didn’t make it out to Gilbert for this open mic sooner! The venue has a large capacity and the sound system is quality and I enjoyed being on the stage. I really like their system for featuring new local comics as spotlights on the next week’s open mic show. They had a nice selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Definitely will be back many times."
