"Took my 1 year old to check her eyes cause she got a weird read at the doctor. We got there early for her appointment like they asked. And we waited. And waited. They took us back to dilate her eyes and made us go back to the waiting room some more. When they finally took us back to the exam room and left saying “the doctor will be in in just a minute” we waited for another half hour - 45 minutes... not sure how long but we were about halfway through Mulan. Overall we were at the office for 2 hours... trapped in a tiny room with nothing interesting to look at or see except all the stuff they have do not touch signs on... AKA cruel and unusual torture with a toddler. By the time the doctor came in it was already half an hour past her naptime because we had been waiting so long so the appointment was WAY harder than it needed to be. And on top of that they charged me over $200 for a 5 minute appointment. The doctor was fine, I’m sure he’s good at what he does... but I wasn’t overly impressed with him or any of the office staff either. Frankly I would much rather take my kids to my eye doctor... and I’ll be looking into that rather than pediatric because this was a straight nightmare."

"They refused to see my child who had something stuck in his eye because I had my other kids with me (covid). I'm a single mom what the heck do you want me to do with my other kids? I should be able to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against them. You can not refuse care of a patient because the patients siblings attended the appointment with no other options."

"I'm not saying these other reviewers didn't have adverse experiences, but mine was nothing like that. The office had no problem juggling my son's two insurances - primary and secondary. We were seen promptly at the appointment time. And Dr. Huang was competent and patient with my special needs son. Unless I have a different experience next time, I'd have no problem recommending this place."

"Billing nightmare. Booked the apt and was assured covered. Went to apt and then was asked for $448 for 2 standard eye exams?! Then received another bill for an additional $190. Called my insurance and turns out they aren’t contracted with my vision insurance but are contracted through my health insurance so they used them (which I have to pay out of pocket til we get to 5k) rather than telling me they aren’t contracted with my vision insurance which would have only been a $30 copay."

"they made us wait in the waiting room for 2 hours just to be seen for 5 minutes. then charged my insurance $488. my insurance didn't cover any of it.... over priced and long waiting.. not easy with two kids under 3 years old.. and i was late my dr appt since they were so slow.. I will never go here again."
