"My baby has been going to Dr. Barnes since birth. I really love this doctor’s office I feel uncomfortable when I think about bringing my baby anywhere else. I always book his next appointment during appointments and have never had any problems being seen! If my baby is feeling unwell the receptionist does want to help, just explain and they will fit you in sooner always by the next day. I like having a doctor whose recommendations I can trust, Dr. Barnes genuinely loves her job and I believe loves children more than that. Hip kids are happy healthy kids."

"We really loved this place when my toddler was an infant. Unfortunately the more recent reviews you’ll read seem more accurate in our opinion than the older ones. Over the past 6 months, we’ve been unable to get into appointments at this office. They advertise they’re taking new patients, but as an existing patient we’ve attempted to get in 8 times over 6 months and they could only get us in once. Even when we’ve called right when they opened multiple days in a row, they told us they didn’t have same day appointments left. They also have a policy that they don’t schedule next-day sick appointments, so after multiple days of attempting to see them for treatable illnesses, we’d end up in urgent care to finally get the antibiotic, Tamiflu, etc that our daughter needed. This was if they even bothered to answer the phone or return voicemails. Our toddler has ended up in urgent care or the ED 7 times for simple things like ear infections, influenza, etc that could’ve been treated by the pediatrician. It has cost us thousands of dollars to be seen at a higher level of care than necessary, not to mention additional time off work. It also has prevented her from getting the appropriate ongoing oversight from a pediatrician (eg, we have been trying to determine if she needs tubes for her ear infections but can’t get in, and urgent care defers to her “regular doctor”). When I tried to address this directly with them in December, the physicians assured me that they ALWAYS have same-day appointments and their front desk must be confused. However the same thing happened again this week: we called several times, left a voicemail, and never received a callback. When I emailed, they said they could get me in a couple days later if my child was still sick. The front desk wrote me a patronizing email saying if I needed to be accommodated immediately, I should get a new pediatrician. They also tried to blame this delay in care on one of the doctors being out for a surgery the past month, even though this has been happening for at least 6 months. It feels as if they view providing basic healthcare for patients they committed to treating as a luxury accommodation. We’re sadly looking for a new pediatrician at this point."

"How in the world do people recommend this place? We went for our newborn appointment and it was terrible. DIRTY, SMALL, UNORGANIZED, ikea furniture, etc. Most importantly we felt rushed by the Pediatrician. She would not lets us talk or get questions out. The assistant came in and used the trash can as a table for their laptop and during the conversation it collapsed, and she almost fell over into the trashcan!!! Honestly, this place is a joke to say the least. Again, they must be giving out discounts to people to recommend them because it really makes zero sense how anyone could use or recommend them. Parents if you’re looking for a reputable, professional, clean, and incredible place to take your kids go to step-by-step pediatrics."

Pediatricians have my greatest respect as they diagnose beyond what their little patients can express : and I am proud to say without any reservation that my experience with Dr.Amy Guzek’s care has all these qualities plus more. Her approach has attention to detail yet she’s super personable with her little patients and she feels like family, making the intimidating visit to the pediatrician feel comfortable.
