"I had to visit Banner Occupational Health in January for a back to work release after surgery. My wait time in the facility waiting area was over 3 hours and then about 30 minutes in the exam room. When the physician came into my room, he literally asked "are you ready? I said yes, and he gave me a piece of paper and walked out. Maybe 60-90 seconds at most. Today, I am calling for an appointment for another appointment for a work release after being sick for over 5 days. I called and the automated system said my wait time would be approximately 4-11 minutes. I have now been on hold for 60 minutes. Banner needs to hire additional customer service representative to staff the phones for this appointments because being on hold an hour to make an appointment is absurd."

"Short staffing makes the wait longer. People were polite while checking in. The waiting room nurse was kind and polite. Call etiquette could be better."

"I had a back to work appointment scheduled for 9am, I wasn’t seen until over an hour after my appointment time. Honestly it’s absolutely ridiculous. Front staff was nice but kind of unprofessional joking around about drug tests. Please focus on seeing patients within a reasonable time frame!"

"I would venture to guess that 99% of these reviews are written by people sitting in the waiting room, like myself. It's a very small room- size of a one car garage and it has 9 chairs. It's currently packed. People standing. Not a single person has been called back in the hour I've been here. It's dead silent and awkward as Hell. I asked the receptionist how long the wait is and she said she can't disclose that! Is it top secret or something? People should at least have a time frame so they can be aware of any time conflicts. I'm very tempted to leave, but need to have this test for employment purposes. At this rate, might be here 4 or 5 hours."

"I was scared after the bad reviews and went an hour early to my 3pm appointment but they actually were able to get me in right when I got there! Waited maybe 10 minutes. Signed a couple of documents upon arrival, person at the front desk was quick to get everyone checked in, and I was called back surprisingly fast. It is a little weird that the exam rooms are just separated by curtains and you can hear everyone else… the person doing my intake was even holding a conversation with another employee while the curtain was closed so definitely didn’t feel very private… Only 4 stars because this person also severely hurt my arm when drawing blood and didn’t care when I said it was making me light headed. My arm hurt so much after I could hardly move it. I’m not being dramatic either, I went to phlebotomy school and have been poked dozens of times…. They just inserted the needle really deep and at a really steep angle so it hurt a ton. It bled for a really long time. I had to wait probably 15 minutes or so in the physical exam room for the PA to come but once he got there, he was super nice and attentive! TLDR: the office staff must’ve changed because I had no problems with wait times and my one criticism is I had a really bad phlebotomy tech (if he even is one)."
