"Dr Rassiwala was amazing when I saw her 10 plus years ago and as needed. She goes above and beyond to help me and understand me. She looks through meds carefully making sure side effects isn't bad. She's takes a lot of time for me."

"Dr. Farida Rassiwala diagnosed me with borderline personality disorder after answering maybe 12 questions on a sheet of paper. Then she put me on anticonvulsants that completely wrecked my hand eye coordination and made me permanently dizzy. Every time I expressed my concerns with the medication she put me on a higher dosage of the same thing. Her bedside manner is incredibly blazé and made me feel like I was talking to a brick wall. If you're looking for someone who listens to you and behaves as though they care, this is not the place for you. (Edit) I've found a different Psychiatrist that actually listened to me and it turns out I have ADHD. She's expressed that she has no idea how Dr. Farida Rassiwala came to the conclusion of BPD and was very concerned about the medication that was prescribed to me, explaining that they can actually CAUSE seizures and my descriptions of confusion and dizziness fit the bill. 3 years later and I'm still dizzy from time to time."

"I was a patient of hers for several years and came to her and explained my own diagnosis and medications I needed to which she just agreed and wrote the scripts so I cannot speak to her ability to diagnose. She is a very non-personable doctor and I found it very difficult to have productive conversations about my health care. She literally makes you sign a document right up front that if you do not agree with her she will cut you off as a patient that's a red flag for anyone! For an entire year she doubled billed me and my insurance and only when I called her out on it was I given an entire year worth of credit!! Bottom line if you can find literally any other doctor to see do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere. Dr. You need to take a look in the mirror at yourself and stop treating people like they are worthless and you need to put their health care first not your own opinions/agendas that you base off of your own personal biases. I am not your experiment that you get to play with and I have not felt this amazing in years now that I am off the garbage you kept pumping my body with. Good riddance"

"Dr. Rassiwala ruined my life. She diagnosed me with bipolar disorder, put me on drugs for that. Well, the bipolar drugs were causing more intense mood swings, so she put me on an antipsychotic. She convinced me that I had borderline personality disorder and said the bipolar drugs I were on couldn't possibly make my mood swings worse. A quick Google search reveals otherwise, especially when you are on a high dose. She makes you sign a consent form for every prescription but she DOES NOT warn you of the risks. Some medications can have permanent side effects that never go away even after you discontinue the drug (hence my life being ruined) but she will say that's not possible. Look up "tardive dyskinesia." It's psychiatry 101. Furthermore, her billing people have no idea what they're doing. I was charged full price every time even though I have insurance "because you have a deductible." Well, no other doctor that I was seeing at the time charged me more than a copay. I paid her hundreds of dollars to ruin my life. I'm now off all psych meds and my moods are more stable than ever. It's doctors like her that give psychiatry a bad name."

"Dr. Rassiwala was recommended to me by my physician. She is professional, competent, ethical, kind and not cold at all. She keeps a professional demeanor which I prefer in a professional setting. She listens, makes intelligent recommendations and is very good at what she does. No problems with the front desk either. Recommend."
