"I called in to get my husband an appt for covid which was scheduled. The day of appt I assume mds assistant called to try and change to telle. Said nothing we can do for him. I said no not tech get confused. Persisted but I refused. Then suggested might cost a lot. Told her I just got my med 0 copy the day before. Then said should go to urgent care. I said no he has no copay to come to VM. We came to appt w masks as instructed after all this. Nurse Rachet did a nasal swab causing hubby to almost come out of his chair the way she inserted it. She left with a curt doc will be in 15 min after test. Test was pos as I had informed them when made appt. MD was efficient and pleasant but will not schedule another appt w him due to his assistant. "No real problems with the Doctor. I went in for an annual medical exam and a couple of health issues. The waiting room was clean and kind of sterile. Maybe that's good as far as a medical office, but not a hugely relaxing space. Fortunately I didn't have to wait long. All he really did was check me out with his stethoscope. No blood tests or anything more in-depth. One thing that really bothers me about this place is the impossibility of being able to call and actually talk to someone. When calling, you get shuttled to voice-tree hell and are forced to leave a message with the hope that someone will get back to you. Edit: I did finally figure out a way to talk to someone. You just have to ignore the prompts and wait until someone picks up. The problem here is that I'm going to have to wait 1-3 days for a response to my question. I'd guess that if I'd left a message, it would have been 1-3 days for a response, then an additional 1-3 days for an answer, making the total potential wait time almost a week."
