Innovative Primary Care

"This is really sad. I do not feel like this office puts the patients first. I went to the office recently and I was told that they thought I had Valley Fever due to my symptoms and my wheezing. The NP had told me that he was going to do a CBC blood test, Valley Fever blood test, a nose swab, and a chest x-ray. I only was written a script for the valley fever bloodwork and nose swab. I went to the office on 3/11 and got the Valley Fever blood work on 3/12. I never was called back about my test results. Sadly, I had to look one of them up on the actual lab’s website. I called on 3/15 and talked with the medical assistant. I told her that I was never informed about my results. I also told her he was going to write me a script for getting a chest x-ray. She asked me if I was going to be available on Saturday and then she could call in a request for SimonMed to get a chest x-ray. I called SimonMed and they stated that they did not have any active requests in under my name. It is now 3/20 and I have yet to been called back asking if I’m doing better or any plan to follow up. I’m still wheezing and my have to go to an urgent care just to ensure that I can get healthy since it’s clear that this office doesn’t seem to care that I still am wheezing. Zero follow up and no plan after the negative results. I’m sorry but that is not caring for your patient and, in my opinion, it’s unacceptable. I paid to be taken care of and I do not feel like I was. I was completely blown off by this entire office."
