"Did not like anything about this place! I was told $50 deductible on the phone and when I checked in at front desk, which was fine, as I had no problem with that. However, when I went to pay it was $159. I was charged for my contact prescription - $59, my glasses prescription - $50, which I did not ask for nor want, and my deductible of $50, which was a total of $159. That surely was not explained and the girl at the front desk was a beast! She was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude. My suggestion for Swagel Wootton, would be to find someone that is a bit more of a “people person” to greet and speak with your customers. Someone that can accurately explain how your fees work as welol as maybe someone with a personality!! I spent over 2 hours at the place, they were super slow. The eye doctor was okay at best, but I had specifically chosen them just in case surgery was needed. I believe the overall eye exam was thorough and I thank God surgery was not needed. I would hate to have to deal with them on a more extended basis, since my overall experience was not at all good. Furthermore, to make matters worse when asked if they could order my contacts, was told they had no retail services. I seriously wish that had been explained me prior to going to them. It was a good thing I brought an extra pair of contacts, as they didn’t even have contacts you could be fitted for and therefore again, not sure why I had to pay $59 for the contact prescription. In summary, poor service and they severely over charge!! I couldn’t order my contacts (which I told girl on phone was needed and why I was trying to get in to see them prior to December 31st) and therefore I lost out on $150 my insurance provides for the 2023 plan year. The visit overall cost me $309, and I have nothing to show for it. Other than 2 hours of lost time, that I can’t get back – I really wish “all doctors” would try to understand our time is worth money too… I would NOT recommend Swagel Wootton to my worst enemy!"

"This was my first experience with this office. It was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and welcoming even though they are making the move to a new computer system. The lady doing my exam was equally as great and actually had me laughing. Dr Lewis was very kind and made me feel at ease and was very informative."
