"I've been seeing Debra at the Mayo Counseling Center for over 6 months now. She's been a wonderful therapist helping me through childhood trauma, traumatic events, PTSD, depression and anxiety. It's been hard work (what therapy isn't) but it's been so worth it. She's been at my side helping me every step of the way, encouraging me to grow, heal and live life in a healthier manner. Homework has always been helpful with any therapist I've seen, but the difference with Debra is she knows how much to give and when. She's so careful not to push you too much or give you more than you're ready for. Not only is she incredibly personal and gentle as a therapist, it feels like she goes above and beyond to help. Another reason (least of all) I love going to the Mayo Counseling Center, is because of it's accessibility. It's close to home, right off the 10, and even if you can't make it in, or if you don't like in person therapy, she offers Skype. I take a long time to review places I love because I'm a guarded person, but Debra and the Mayo Counseling Center deserve over 5 stars. I'd be happy to recommend Debra at the Mayo Counseling Center to anyone looking to start their healing journey."
