Mayo Clinic Primary Care - San Tan

"I just want to say as a new patient, that I am extremely pleased with this office and the staff. I'm also an employee with Mayo clinic Hospital but at a different campus. This San Tan facility happened to be closer to my home so I was set up with Dr. Clay Walker. Dr. Walker is absolutely Amazing! His bed side manners and attention to detail and listening to the needs of his patients are top tier. The RN that took our vitals and roomed us is Amazing as well. I love it here. I have not felt this satisfied with a primary care facility in years, but I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Clay and the whole staff. Even the lab there. I appreciate all they do."

"All I asked was to send a prescription for Freestyle Libre 2 so I could try it out, but Julie made the whole request messed up. First, she advised that the prescription was sent over to CVS but when I was at the CVS nothing came in. The next day, Julie advised that the prescription was sent again but she ordered a Freestyle Libre 14-day sensor kit with a Freestyle Libre 2 reader which is not compatible with each other. Wasted my days & time and gas because she could not make it straight down on easy requests."

"It took about a year to get established but a few months of that was due to Covid delays in 2020. I’m so glad I waited though. My experiences with everyone I’ve been in contact with (schedulers, front desk, PA’s, doctors, specialists) have been amazing. They’ve been thorough, accommodating and timely. Being in the healthcare industry must be exhausting, especially now, but they don’t seem to skip a beat. Thanks Mayo!"

"I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, the cleanliness, the scheduling efficiency and the communication. I'm a new patient and have had quite a few PCPs over the years and sometimes the doctors are great but the staff is awful or vice versa. At Mayo they seem to be amazing in both areas so far. They have a very good app that allows you to do lots of things from asking your care team a question to scheduling an appointment to reviewing your lab results. I requested an appoint late Sunday evening through the app and was thrilled when I woke up the next day and saw they had me scheduled for Tuesday. I also asked for some lab orders through the app and they responded immediately. I am so shocked at how organized and thorough they are. The facility is very clean. No door knobs to touch - it's all automatic. They check your temperature and give you a COVID screener. I really appreciate how serious they are about minimizing exposure. The PCP I saw was young but very thorough, had great bedside manner and never once made me feel rushed. They also accept children at this location. The wait to be accepted at Mayo is very long, but so far it's been worth it."

"Mayo is great. Everything is so efficient and organized. The doctors and staff allow plenty of time for me to ask questions and give us answers. They really care. The doctor always comes prepared and has clearly read the notes. Even with infrequent visits it feels like she knows us. Since this place is part of the greater Mayo Clinic organization we can do everything through needed. All the specialists are accessible."
