"Well first I was hesitant to leave the review because I wasn’t sure if I was taking it personally or not. Based on the other reviews I am not. My grandparents were patients for over 14 years and I have decided to switch their dr due to the lack of respect and urgency they have shown. The dr I have no complaints about I just wish he would spend more time with the patients. At least with us he is always in and out. My issues are with his staff. They are extremely unorganized and simply do not care and it’s reflecting on his practice. Wrong information is provided to other drs if anything is provided at all. They pick and choose when they want to answer their phone. I literally stood by the door letting the phone ring to answer and two ladies are sitting right there. I walked in and asked if their phones were working because that’s me ringing. She tells me yes but it’s lunch. They failed to provide medical records and prescription list when requested multiple times via the phone. Via fax and I keep getting a response that it was already done. Or being worked on. The ladies lie on each other passing the buck. Oh I sent it to this person. That’s not in my job description. Never have I every dealt with such unprofessional staff. Last straw was Kelly the manager. Who loves to pass blame that she was on maternity leave and that’s why things weren’t getting done. I spoke to her last week and she insisted I was yelling at her ( I was speaking to her through my cars apple play and was speaking so she could hear me. No sense of attitude or anger For me to yell) she threatened to hang up on me. Almost did until I asked her how could she keep her job after talking to people like This. She refused to help with our issue. Just kept telling me what the notes said and what she already did. Her attitude is horrible and she is a mean individual. I don’t see how the dr has someone like this on his staff. I assume since she is back office she forgot how to deal with patients and their families. I ended up switching my grandparents dr due to this I cannot say with confidence that this office has their patients best interest at heart. Especially when someone is a diabetic and you fail to give that information to a medically facility that is caring for the patient. Good thing I caught the med list that Kelly said she handled herself. Then when I asked why doesn’t it Indicate diabetic and meds “that’s not apart of my job” was what I was told. Bottom line horrible horrible horrible staff. Really is bringing this place down. I definitely think it’s time for a rotation. The other lady at the front desk her name starts with a D is good. She is new and still learning but seemed to be the only one who didn’t seem bothered to do her work. Idk maybe the other staff is burnt out I just don’t see how they work in the positions they do with the demeanor they carry."
"I scheduled an appointment due to a fractured ankle, 2 weeks to be seen by the doctor. I seen the PA which by the way was amazing. He ordered a CT scan of my ankle due to swelling and bruising. The PA’s name was on the order so my insurance denied the imaging because he isn’t covered under my insurance. I called the office to have this updated, waited 2 days, called SimonMed and they didn’t receive the order. I called the office, provided the information once again that I needed. The office gal stated she would fax the order. I advised her that I would be around to pick up the order. I go into the office, there is no order and the staff was unable to find my order. At this point I’m frustrated because it is not in my file and she had no clue what I was requesting. I mentioned to her several times that I needed an order for SimonMed. She handed me a referral for another specialists. I then again advised her what I needed. I walked to my car and provided her the copy of the referral, maybe this would help her out. I asked for the Dr or office manager cause I’d been waiting for 45 minutes, mind you this gal was just as frustrated as myself and had attitude about the whole situation. The office manage handed me a copy of the referral and we had an alteration because she was extremely rude and the office gal provided with her inaccurate information. The office gal stated to her that I was yelling and placed the paperwork in her face, which is incorrect. This is a small office and I’m pretty sure if I were yelling she would of came out sooner. The only reason she came out was because I asked to speak to someone. She then asked me to go outside where she was being very unprofessional and loud. Due to the incorrect information I was asked to find another doctor. I will be filing defamation of character against the Dr’s office and a grievance with the insurance company. The insurance is needing additional paperwork on why I’m needing an CT scan which has yet to be forwarded. Therefore, CT scan has not been provided, this is going on an additional 2 weeks. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered at a Dr’s office."
"Don’t bother coming here. The front desk staff, Danielle and the “office manger“ Lorie, are hands down incapable of doing the basic job functions such as sending a fax or scheduling appointments correctly. They are VERY rude and disrespectful consistently. If the bill is $19 and some change, I give you $20, you’re telling me it takes you that long to count out a couple of coins to give me???!!! It took them almost 10min to give me my change for the bill I received in the mail. Dr. Brown and Crystal are amazing!!!! Wish you two ladies worked at a different practice besides here. :)"
"I originally saw Dr Alshiek. He was very nice and really knowledgeable. I had an emergency visit and saw Melissa Brown. I now request her every time. She's sweet, knowledgeable and actually listens to me. I feel like she really cares about her patients. I have a variety of issues, and she understands how they all affect each other. She works with me to get the results I want. The staff is always so nice. Whether on office or on the phone they greet me with a bright hello and are quick to assist. I have referred several close friends to this office and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new Dr with a great bedside manner."
