"Receptionist at physical therapy check in in building 60 was irritated that I didn't immediately give her my name. Very inpatient and bothered with me. I was trying to say I didn't have an appt but was just picking up paperwork and she very rudely again said "name". Please, if you don't want to help veterans and be pleasant, don't work here."

"Going on 3 years retired and I use this place a lot. The Tucson VA clinic is very organized. Appointments are organized and I get reminders to confirm/cancel/reschedule. Showtime is very prompt. Rarely, do wait more than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. The medical care here is amazing as well. My regular MD is very knowledgeable and the referral process is about as simplistic as it can be. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!"

"My husband is a Viet Nam veteran who goes to the VA Medical Center for healthcare quite often. He lost part of his hearing and, like many veterans, has a hard time hearing soft spoken people. The young people that work there, mostly young women, are VERY soft spoken. You would think that they would get a clue when veterans constantly ask them to repeat what they have said. Some one needs to have the sensitivity and foresight to train these administrative and clinical people to speak in a louder tone so that they can be heard and not wait until the veteran asks them to repeat it. It's more than just "speaking up," and more than just basic consideration. The veterans NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. It's important that you realize that the information is critical to them. Thank you."

"Hardworking, knowledgeable caregivers. Clean facility. Had a major surgery done here successfully. Never been treated poorly. Would just add that more caregivers should be hired so they have more time to figure out patient's health issues. And at times, new, yet proven, forms of care should be approved."

"My father went through an operation at the tucson va couple of months ago here and has never been the same since. My parents were suppose to come up Thanksgiving week. My father had to go to the emergency room (in location hes in not va) the day before they were suppose to leave from there house, he told his primary from phx and a nurse of his symptoms they were ignored. The VA could of prevented this. I hope the worst for the VA Healthcare system. Your advertising death with the walk of honor and I see more and more people wheelchair and walker bound. They need to reform it"
