Others in Fountain Hills say the same. Stay far away Civil Judgment Court Case Number: CC2022156414RC. Civil Judgment was awarded against him Feb 22 2023 for the total amount of $9,768.81. $0 has been repaid. Rod’s workshop 16747 E. PARKVEW AVE., UNIT 5, FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ. 85268 was also facing a foreclosure on November 8th 2023 (trustee sale recorded doc number 20230407573) and he was able to come up with the money to stop it. Writing this review in attempt to get my mom’s money back and to warn others to stay far away."

"COMPLETE & TOTAL SCAM! Hire Rod to build custom restaurant booths for my moms new brewery in Tempe … ROD THE OWNER RAN OFF WITH THE DEPOSIT AND NEVER EVEN STARTED THE WORK ! Police are currently involved. Total fraud. Total scam. Man should and probably will be in jail! 6 month UPDATE Please post another review on google and Yelp. Rod is no where to be found. He has been attempted to be served civil court case papers six times to no avail. He took off with my Mom’s $9,000 deposit check that was written from an SBA loan. Then because Rod could not be found in person to be served, my Mom had to go back to court to file a motion for an alternative service by certified mail. Mail was “returned to sender”. Now she has to file another motion to the court for ANOTHER alternative service by publication. She has to have the noticed published FOUR times on a weekly basis in the newspaper. She just opened her new business and has to go through this slow and tedious court process. Rod went silent in June 2022 when he never delivered her booths."
