"I have never been to a Simon Med facility that was actually on time. The girl at the counter was very slow at getting people checked in. Seemed to be on a personal phone call at 1 time. I waited over an hours and 20 mins for my scheduled appt. Really need to stop over booking people if you can't handle that many. Too many of us were waiting for quite awhile."
"The actual PET scan and office experience went well, but calling in to get information on the appointment and their complete inability to email me the preparation instructions, despite having called in 10+ times is absolutely unacceptable. In some cases, the person that answered was able to talk to me about the preparation instructions, but in most cases, they could not locate the preparation instructions and simple transferred me to a phone line that never rang and after several minutes without any sound, I hung up. In all cases, for the 10+ calls, I was never provided with the promised email that had the preparation instructions. I was forced to search the internet to find other providers who had the PET scan preparation instructions posted. The last thing is that everyone that answered the phone had heavy accents and in some cases they were hard to understand. SimonMed needs to do a better job with the call in experience and with providing the preparation instructions they promise to send....these procedures and the diseases they find are far too important to the patient to put the results at risk by not having proper support for the phone calls."
"I needed to get an x-ray done before I left town. I knew that there would be long lines and it would be a long time at the facility. I was wrong. SimonMed has a number of facilities around the valley and a dashboard at their website, showing the hours of each site and the number of people in queue. I picked one relatively close, arrived in time to be the next person to be seen. And I was out within 45 minutes. The desk staff was very nice and approachable. The tech who took care of me was very personable and helpful. I’m a big fan of SimonMed."
"Wonderful center, with kind people. A little bit difficult to find, but the signs helped. Patient staff that have you on your way soon, and make the awkwardness of x-rays a better experience. "
