"Very nice RV park. Clean and staff are friendly. They have an observation dome that offers star gazing on certain nights, which was interesting. The only problem is the trains, but if you go to any RV park most of them have trains."

"I wish I could give 10 stars!! Beautiful, clean, well run, friendly and active staff. Three dog parks! Even a sign of who to call if there is a rattlesnake keeping you from going in. Poop bags stocked and parks sanitized regularly. Friendly and considerate dog owners. Many times if they weren’t social doggies they would leave so we could have some time or vice versa. DO the observatory. Jim was so informed and passionate. It was great to have him lead us through the sky. Truly awe inspiring. It’s free if you stay there or $5 if you don’t. Well spent hour and a half. Our 45’ TH fit just right in a back in spot along the wall with plenty of room between the neighbors and ourselves. No worries about parking the truck. They do have many pull throughs as well. Beautiful area. We stayed 10 days I think after reserving a week originally. Lots to see and perfect motorcycle rides in the area. Thanks for having us!"

"We were so lucky to have found this park and highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra two months! Butterfield is an extremely well-kept, active, organized and friendly park. The management, staff and activities are first class. The 89-degree pool was perfect for the winter and the Observatory offered magnificent starry views. We found the location very convenient with groceries and services within walking distance and a short drive to lots of attractions (Caves, Hiking, Tucson, Tombstone, Bisbee and more). Benson is a railroad community so there is some train noise but we became accustomed to it after a couple of days. We will definitely be back!"

"We had a great time there. Everyone including the staff were very welcoming when we arrived a week ago. Initially we booked for 3 days but extended for a week stay. We met some wonderful folks and really felt "at home". The various activities were such that we wished we could have stayed longer. Hope to come against in the future. Thanks again!"

"This is a high end RV park. There is no dirt anywhere, all the roads are black top as are all the RV sites. Concrete curbs and stones border all the blacktop. Easy access from I-10. They have pickleball, hot tub, swimming pool, laundry, everything neat and clean. They have an observatory you can schedule in the office to have a show with their 16 inch reflecting telescope. I’ve been stopping here for the last four years for a few days passing through and it always looks kind of new. The rate is reasonable for their amenities and quality at about double the low end of a private RV park. Tombstone is located about 45 minutes south and Cochise’s Stronghold is about an hour east. Tombstone is a full day with restaurants, shows, souvenirs, etc. The main tourist strip is closed to traffic re-creates an old time western town with the stagecoach, running up and down the street and gun fights breaking out on a pretty regular schedule. Cochise’s Stronghold is completely undeveloped. It’s a long, rough dirt road you can drive down and see magnificent scenery. Well worth the drive as long as you’re not expecting an amusement park or even a touristy national park."
