"I visited the soul food restaurant in April of 2021 and it was so darn good that I came back for dinner 3 days in a row! The woman who owns it and her daughter are special people because they are so extremely friendly and hard working. Really appreciate businesses like this. I want to come stay at the campground this summer, but have had difficulty getting in touch with anyone. Called several days ago, left a message, no response yet. Just called again and no answer ..... so I left another message. Really hoping that they are still in business and still offering tent campsites and great soul food! I want to spend a week in Arivaca, but only if this place is still in business. If not, then I will have to find another place to spend my vacation."
"I’m at a loss of words as to how blown away I was by the entire experience at Soul Food! Ebony and her daughter are beautiful, kind, and loving people who made you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door!! It’s rare in this day and age. The hospitality and level of attentiveness they extended myself and my friends was first class! The food is beyond amazing, every dish we had was exceptional and delicious, and made with love! Thank you both so much for being the highlight of our day, can’t wait to come back again, God Bless!"
"Family owned soul food restaurant! The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! The food is even better!! True soul food! We had the catfish and cod; DEVINE! One of the best catfish dishes I've ever had! The cornbread and butter is to die for. We also had the collard greens, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn! All homemade and absolutely wonderful! When we come back we will be stopping here! They take debit cards as well, which is nice in a small town."
"This family-run spot has epic food! Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. Chicken & Waffles are memorable- as is the cod. All the sides I’ve had are really good home-cooking. I’m quickly turning into a regular. Strongly recommend."
