"Service at all title and escrow companies have slipped over the past couple years I guess because of COVID-19. Customers and Realtors are pieces of paper and names on them. Nothing personal and you can just fall into the cracks."

"The Seller and us the buyer where buying land in Eloy for a lot that was 4,000.00. I was to put down 500.00 it was to be check, money order, cashier check or wired and it would take the land off the market the land still will show but pending would show on the add .We had 3 months to get the land paid off. We were going to wire the 500.00. Took the paper with wiring instructions it was sent thru the email down to wal-mart. The first Wal-mart keep asking me questions on wiring the money, I never wired money. Then I went to a 2nd wal-mart and I had 3 or 4 people in yellow vest tell me it was a scam. I found out their is no security if you wire and the person you wire to has access to your account if you use a bank. If the wire was a scam the money would not be replaced. Instead I got a money order because if the money order is lost you can get it replaced. We drove down waited outside because of COVID and paid the money with money order. I asked if I could keep paying with 500.00 money orders till paid. I was told I could not do that because if I keep paying in money orders it might be considered money laundering. I was told to bring a cashiers check, with a cashiers check they are not insured, you need to buy the insurance and it can cost up to 100.00 if you do not have insurance and if cashiers check is lost or stolen you will not get your money back. I was told when you get to the end to pay the total money at the end we needed to call up get earnest amount. I keep asking what the earnest amount was from the beginning and being told Security Title could not tell me until the exact date. I was afraid of not knowing the exact amount is hiding hidden cost that I was not ready for with it being so close to the closing. I was also told I had to wait for the Security Title to figure the total out it was the 15 of the month and the closing was the 31 of the month. I was told because of COVID. they will send a notary to house or meet some place else. I made the mistake of not just putting down 500.00, I put 3000.00 instead because I wanted to pay off the land . I decided I did not want to go thru Security Title Company I was afraid of hidden cost I could not afford....the land went back to the owner...I would have to wait for the money to be returned after Security Title takes out the 500.00 and if there is other fees. I was not happy with Security Title, the secretary was great but the upper management was too busy to answer questions, she seemed like she had important things to do and if she answered the questions... after that she did want to deal with you. I left out all my emotions at the time I was going thru and their was many. Maybe my story will help someone....."

"Showed up to drop off title deposit with my 2 year old daughter in my arms on a 108 degree day ,front door locked stood in heat till someone came to the door and was told they wernt letting people inside because of covid and I was questioned who I was there to see and why at that point my daughter and I were hot and I told them I'd just wrather get another more professional title company so I left, wouldnt advise using these people theres no courtesy or professionalism."
