"Certified Insurance Services started out okay for our company, but has been terrible for the last year. Their ability to communicate by email is lacking. When challenged, Pat Wilcox is short and obnoxious. Brett Thompson is slow to respond if he responds at all. This month, he flat-out ignored four consecutive emails from me over a period of 18 days. When my patience was gone, I sent him an email asking if Certified is run by clowns, and ONLY THEN he responded, but told me that if I don't speak professionally I won't get quality service. Think about that for a moment before doing business with this company. Certified also is outperformed by other providers and carriers. They couldn't get us a reasonable deal for a utility bond, expecting us to cover 300% of the amount with liquid assets, which is astronomical. The debacle of trying to put documentation together from partners that we shouldn't have needed--only to find such a ridiculous requirement--wasted weeks of our time. We now have three bonds with their local competitor, and each was served in one to two days using only my credit. Steer away from Certified Insurance Services. There are better insurance providers galore."
