"My first time going today. I simply wanted to get Palo Azul. After 10 minutes not fining it i asked for help close to the fruit on the left side of the store. The first person I asked Compa can you help me? He responds annoyed I WORK IN THE SEA FOOD AREA ask someone else? I figured coming here it would be like ranch market & people would treat me with respect but I was wrong. The old man with white mustache that stocks the fruit then helped me out of obligation with an attitude after saying hi to the guy who refused my help. He asked what I needed i said Palo Azul & he repeated to me Palo Azul? With a very irritated expression on his face. I can be rude to and I know there’s a difference between chicanos & paisas doesn’t mean you have to disrespect or I don’t understand Spanish. Saying stuff under your breath throwing your hands in the air raising your isn’t the best way to treat a person. He just said Palo Azul loud and left! I know he didn’t like me the way he disrespected. Like I said I can disrespect & know Spanish to. You don’t know who is rated to who if their disrespecting out here you need to coach your team. I’m very high on respect and i simply didn’t get that . I also work customer service that was a was not service. I do suffer from anxiety as well and a man raising his voice and body language throwing your hands I consider a threat. I did not raise my voice throw my hands or react which I could have easily. I will continue to go to Ranch Market. Keep in mind not everyone is able abiding citizen before your disrespect the wrong family."

"I felt like I was being scammed. Went to buy meat for menudo. Lets just say the meat was frozen with water. I told the butcher that it weighs to much because of the frozen water with meat. They didnt care they just said if you dont want it.. then dont buy it. Total Scam. Bad customer service."

"I bought cut beef meat for tacos for my son's birthday party. The meat was horrible, it looked like they gave me all the waste they took off the good meat. It was mostly fat and hard waste. It took me a few hours to separate the good meat from the bad. I called the store they denied me speaking to a manager. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me since the meat was already tampered with. She was very rude and asked me why I didn't check the meat before leaving the store. I said I did not know I had to check the meat, why would I? I am sorry but I paid good money for that meat, it was not given to me for free. I shouldn't have to check it to make sure it isn't trash. I did not notice how bad the meat was until I was ready to cook it, I did not have time to drive back to the store. I had to use it, serving my family and friends what I was able to clean from it. I felt horrible and embarrassed to feed them waste, I don’t think that is fair. The store caters to the Latino community and the Latino community deserves better than that, we work hard for our money and expect more from our grocery stores. You need to hire staff that is less rude and that takes pride in the products they serve. I will never buy from your store again and I will make sure to let all my friends and family know how horrible your meat is."

"This is one of my favorite places to shop, especially when I’m making carne asada or ceviche. They have everything I need plus many other ingredients that are hard to find. The place is very clean and wide-open. Interestingly, knowing that they cater to a Hispanic audience, their prices are substantially more than almost all other supermarkets. The reason I don’t give them five stars is because of their customer service. The staff in the aisles are friendly and will help you, but the staff at the registers frequently are rude. The last four visits have been especially awful, given how I am treated at the register. The girls seem irritated with customers and do not smile. They are typically visiting with each other, so a customer interruption rocks their world."
