Dollar Tree

"This man accused me of stealing when I was trying to process an exchange. I had come in a few weeks back, went to the cashier & explained I wanted to make an exchange. They add more loopholes at the time of the exchange. This would cause me to spend more time in the store than I anticipated so I told them I would return when I had more time. I came back in today - mind you last time I walked up to the cashier I was not given a return sticker for my bags or anything I was just told to go and grab the items I wanted to exchange them for. This time around I did just that. I walked in with my items in the dollar tree bags, put them in my cart & looked for items I could exchange them for. When I was ready I saw this man so I told him I wanted to make an exchange. He was very short and rude demanding that I should’ve walked up to a cashier the moment I walked in to the store because they don’t know If I could be stealing or not. I tried not to take it personal so I just told him I had my receipt. He took it from me along with some of the items I wanted to return but didn’t take a rug from my cart. I didn’t pay it any mind. He sent me back to go grab something else because I had a food item and he advised I couldn’t exchange a non food item for a food item. Cool. I did as I was told. I went to go grab something else and when I went back to the cash register I told the cashier that I was ready. This was another cashier, however he told me to go to that register when I was ready so I did what I was told. I told her the rug was also part of the exchange to please check my receipt because the man had taken it (I could see it was on her register). Instead of checking the receipt she yelled out for him and this man literally yelled out from the office area “No that’s not part of the exchange you went into the aisle and put it in your cart”. Mind you there were other customers in line and in the building. I was appalled. I asked him to check my receipt multiple times. He finally checked it and realized he was wrong. I didn’t get an apology. I was very upset. I asked him for his name but he refused. I could understand how there might’ve been a misunderstanding, however that is not an appropriate way to handle a customer interaction. CHECK THE RECEIPT!!"

"If I could give no stars I would. I went in here about a month ago and the behavior of the employees was appalling. I had what I believe was a manager come behind me and say “excuse you” TO ME when she was walking behind me. I have never had such a bad experience in a store. Go to ANY other dollar tree. It’s not worth your time to go here. TRUST ME."

"They seem to always be out of shopping carts or baskets , and today I noticed why! First, I seen a customer walk out with TWO & he strapped on to his bike. The cashier just let him, and as i was walking towards the back, they had about 8 shopping baskets with employee items in them! I was very frustrated because I was walking around with my baby in her carseat and had to figure out how to carry my items with one hand. I also seen a elderly women struggling to get items with no basket."

"Google has the wrong hours. On Sunday this location doesn't open until 10am. Google has it listed for 9am. I wasted gas and time. Update: I just left this location and the manager was talking to the cashier and another associate like they were nothing. We treat our dog better than the manager treats the workers here. She yelled at them in front of customers and talked down to them. Smh."

"Shelved are often empty, and the selection isn't great for how big the store is. One staff member was rude to my 9 year old daughter, and when I called her out for it, she back tracked real quick. Go to a nicer neighborhood for better finds."
