"After years of fighting my justified fear of going to the dentist due to painful and bad experiences as a child and adult, I finally listened to my sister and brother-in-law's advice to try Lakeside Dental Care. They both continue to receive excellent care from Dr. Lopez and his staff and promised me I would be happy I made the decision. After 10 years of ignoring good dental hygiene, I knew I had to face my fears and finally made the appointment. From the moment I was greeted by Annie, I felt like I was in kind, capable hands. The waiting room is as warm and inviting as the staff. I was especially impressed with Grace, my dental hygienist, who certainly lives up to her name. She was friendly, efficient and helpful as she took all of my xrays to get me ready to see Dr. Lopez. When I told her I was embarrassed by the length of time it had been since I had seen a dentist, she assured me I was not alone in my fear and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Lopez was also friendly, professional and I believed him when he told me it was his job to make sure I got the best care possible to get my gums and teeth healthy. In the full set of xrays Grace painlessly took, he showed me work he recommends be done to insure that result. Back to Grace, as the first step was a deep clean of my teeth and gums to get rid of over 10 years of plaque build-up! As I got ready for the dreaded numbing shots that in the past were so painful and twice left me with tingling and numbness in my cheeks that lasted for weeks, I soon realized that I could let go of my fear! Grace was gentle and capable and I hardly felt anything and was numb in no time! She took a lot of time to make sure she got all 10 years of neglect off of the left side upper and lower quads -- next appointment she'll tackle the other side! Dr. Lopez will be taking care of the rest of my dental needs, including a crown and cavities, in the next few weeks and I am not afraid anymore! I think we all know dental work is expensive so I want to mention they offer a lot of payment options. They accept dental insurance for those who have it; but, for those of us who don't, they offer a generous cash discount I'm happy to take advantage of. To make this long story shorter, suffice it to say I highly recommend Lakeside Dental Care!"
