"I admit that going to the dentist is not an easy or fun experience for me, never has been. But I wanted to give Surprise Dental & Denture the credit they deserve. From the moment I arrived I was acknowledged and greeted by a smiling front office staff. They were running right on time and without having to wait I was greeted and escorted to the back by Megan my hygienist, she was fantastic. I have mobility issues and she was aware and concerned at each stage of getting me transferred to the dental chair and later to the panoramic x-ray machine. During the exam and cleaning she explained everything she was going to do before she did it and cared for my comfort. After my cleaning Dr. J came in for the final consult and his chair side manners are second to none. He not only explained one minor procedure I need done on my next visit, but he had a way of keeping me talking about my, what I will honestly call fear of dental work. Ultimately, he felt it was better to get me through my next cleaning and small procedure and take things slowly before tackling two implants that I have avoided for years. The reality is that rather than pressuring me into scheduling for the implants he wants to take it slowly so I can prepare myself for something larger. To me that is a doctor operating a practice that put my concerns and fears before just setting up a treatment plan that I was not ready for and for that I cannot thank him (and the staff) enough."
