"Great place, although a bit hard to find! I'm glad I persevered to find it in the "tent city" because I got some great food and amazing prices on sunscreen. Like any liquidation place, it's better not to have a shopping list of must haves because you don't know what they will have on the shelves. FYI need cash or a check, no cards."

"Gave me overloaded tiny box to carry jars that broke on me and made a mess in the rv, despite me asking many times for bigger box. Now im in the middle of nowhere with little water to clean up the mess broken jars glass everywhere. Most stuff is way outdated, expired in 2 years ago !! Dont buy their garbage priced high too, should be ill legal to sell. And I guess I was a 2nd class person to them to pack properly."

"Yes, you have to check the food but keep reading.... This place is amazing. It is a grocery store but in a tent. They sell things liquidated from grocery stores in the area. This is mostly canned, jarred, and dry food. For people who live on the road this is useful anyway. I always stock up on canned soups, sauces, candy, snacks, oils, dried milk and, coffee. With rising food costs I literally wouldn't be able to eat as much without this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. (Sometimes they even take off a few bucks at the register too.)"

"These folks are just the best!!! They find great deals and make them available to all us campers, travellers and sight-see-ers in the town (Quartzsite @ Tyson Wells) where you have to "drive carefully because of all the retirees at play" (yea... I saw that sign & thought it was hilarious!). Sure the packaging may be a little 'distressed', but there's a LOT of current-date groceries to enjoy here, including luxury desserts and delicacies that we wouldn't otherwise indulge in. One of our recent joyful 1-dollar finds was Gluten Free Cake mixes (from FRANCE!) in both chocolate and lava versions! BOTH delicious!!! Luna Bars--including a "Chocolate Cupcake" flavor I would never have tried at full price--can be purchased at 3? for a dollar! Or was it 6 for a dollar? In any event, it was a GREAT deal, and I wished I'd bought them out because they turned out to be a very tasty flavor! I also completely restocked my baking morsels stash which I'd used up for holiday goodies! Cereals, coffee, juices, canned goods, pet foods & treats, laundry soap, and MORE! Just about anything you'd want is here! AND, I shop here with confidence (heck, I budget for them)! Remember... "Best by" dates are NOT expirations, and food is often safe & tasty way beyond that date (I used a pasta dated 2012 last week, and it was just like fresh!). So I'm happy to try 'short-date' groceries in exchange for paying only a fraction of normal retail. It's why we ALWAYS stop at Grocery Discount Liquidators when we're traveling between AZ & CA during the winter months. So, Thank You to GDL, Quartzsite/Tyson Wells... you help this retiree's fixed income go a whole lot further and help us to enjoy little luxuries as a treat! PS: Your staff is always wonderful, too... fast, efficient and friendly! They've been a great help each time I visit! (you'd remember me; I paid in 2-dollar bills just because they're fun! :-) See you soon!"
