"It has been a few years since my last time in and it seems they have moved from the Granite Reef and McDonald location since then but I am planning on making a trip to their new (to me) location today to try and find a specific item that I have purchased from them previously. Bear Claw is always my first stop when looking to purchase or have repaired my jewlery and watches. They are ALWAYS fair and helpful with their prices and their quality of work has never once been anything less than exactly what was needed. The owners are awesome and very nice people. "A very interesting place, but I have nothing but gratitude for the woman. The store itself appears to sell stuffed animals, and definitely has an odd vibe to it. When I first spoke with the woman working the jewelry stand inside about cleaning my fiancé’s ring for our wedding, she said she could do it but needed to bring it home because she could not have any cleaning supplies at the store due to the potential toxicity. I agreed, but as I was walking out of the store, I thought “did I just give away that ring and I’ll never see it again?” It was definitely a strange interaction, but when I showed up the next day, she had the ring there and it was the cleanest I had ever seen it. Not only that, but she didn’t charge us at all - she simply said “wear it and enjoy a happy life together”. I was blown away - people just don’t do business like that anymore. I’ll certainly return to her for any of my jewelry needs - she’s a wonderful person!"
