"Five stars for IHOP on Brown and Higley! After a rather lack-luster experience at another local restaurant with a rude waitress, we decided to try IHOP for a date with a bit of privacy to hear our conversation. Our experience at this IHOP was fantastic. Lexi, our host, was absolutely brilliant. She was incredibly kind, polite, and empathetic, which made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious (as always at IHOP!). We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this location. Lexi is a true asset to your team and a role-model for how great customer service, candor and servant-leadership should be! Thank you!"

"Summary: Food Poisoning, Long Wait Times My family and I want out for dinner to this IHOP on FRIDAY 2/9. We had to wait an entire hour for 3 meals which was very excessive. It truly seemed to be due to the short staffing in the front and back of house. Our waitress was very friendly, she was also the hostess, cashier, food runner, and cleaner, so I understand why the wait time was long— but it still happened. The real reason I’m leaving a review is that I got food poisoning from the New York Cheesecake pancakes meal. I have been in bed for 3 days and now believe I contacted a virus in the food or restaurant and it’s now turned into a virus. My bathroom has become my homestead, the one safe place for me to escape in pain to. You DO NOT want whatever I have. I don’t plan to eat IHOP again for a few years, this sickness is outrageous and painful. It’s also the longest I’ve been sick from food poisoning. To IHOP, please make sure you are confirming the expiration dates of food and not leaving food sitting out too long. I am paying for someone’s mistake."

"It's really nice in here since they did an update a few years ago. The food is consistently good and we have never had a bad server here even when they are crazy busy. We go back frequently."

"Pretty good. It was pretty empty when we went but it was night time so understandable. I was surprised to see t-bone steak on the menu, and at just $1 more than an omelet so I ordered t-bone steak and eggs, which came with 2 eggs, hashbrowns and a stack of pancakes. The steak in the photo looked like a normal sized steak. When I got the steak it was very thin - the thinnest T-bone steak I had ever seen before! We asked it to be cooked medium well with a little pink. No pink in the steak, and it was not seasoned it seemed. Mom said after she added salt and pepper hers was good. But I asked if they had any garlic salt or garlic powder, and the chef came and told me they had garlic butter, but I declined, because although thin and unseasoned, it was still kind of juicy and I didn't want to add butter to it. The rest of my food was really good, but the coffee tasted old and wasn't very hot. Our server was really nice and sweet."
