"I came to watch the Playoffs and I was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing, DELICIOUS seafood here. I got a Low Country Boil that has crab, shrimp and sausage with an EGG (so yummy) and corn and potato and added some clams. My greedy self also got a kids catfish platter. The boil was SOOOOOOO GOOD & FRESH, the seasoning (garlic butter, mild) was perfect and I was so happy… I’m back again now, got some happy hour appetizers and things … another low country boil! GO HERE for seafood!!!!! PS… There are OYSTERS!!!"

"We were pleasantly surprised that there was more than just seafood boil pots offered. Most of the remaining options were fried but turned out to be fried well. We had calamari, which was lightly fried. Comes with seafood sauce, which if you add a little of the vinegar sauce and hot horseradish from the really good raw oysters, makes a nice taste. We also had fried oysters which appeared to be freshly shucked then fried. Very large, plump oysters. The salad was crisp though I’d have liked different dressings offered. Our waiter was very nice. This restaurant is quite clean and has a huge parking lot shared with the Walmart."

"Why was this place empty for lunch???? Great specials, and when I tell you they were the freshest crispiest fries I have had in a good while, believe me! Shrimp was fried perfect - 10/10 knocked out of the park, I will be back! To try the boil next time. Service was great, and kitchen was quick. What more can you ask for"

"Dive into PIER 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar, and you'll find yourself immersed in an oceanic ambiance that's both bright and inviting. The decor sets the scene with cool, well-lit wall art and an impressive hanging shark that adds a dash of adventure to your dining experience. Maggie, the bartender, is a gem! During happy hour, the popcorn crawfish and calamari are must-haves. The calamari comes in the form of rings that are breaded to perfection, creating a satisfying crunch that leads to the tender seafood within. The popcorn crawfish, paired with a delectable dipping sauce, is a flavorful journey for your taste buds. Venturing into the main menu, the No Head Shrimp is a standout. Served in a bag that seals in the flavors, it's a treasure trove with corn on the cob and potatoes. The shrimp are cooked to a turn—juicy and full of flavor. I'd suggest going for the medium spice level; it brings a pleasant heat that complements the seafood without overpowering it. Whether you're in for happy hour or a full feast, PIER 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar is a splendid catch for seafood lovers seeking a vibrant spot with food that's just as lively."
