"I love when I'm in town each month for work and staying at the Hilton Canopy. Regardless if I stay there or not, I always make a stop at Alter Ego. The atmosphere is great, the food and cocktails are delicious and always great service. Emma is amazing at the bar. Super friendly and wonderful service."

"We enjoyed our 1st ever trip to Alter Ego in Tempe. Thailor greeted us as we walked in and made several recommendations as he was our server. Very friendly guy and cared about providing quality service. The naked chicken wings started us off. The Asian sauce has a nice kick to it. We then both really liked the pear salad. And for entrees had the salmon and the crispy pork belly - both were fantastic! Really liked everything overall and plan to come back in the future."
"Mediocre food and service but great environment. Unfortunately the chef/cook is very slow here which reflected poorly on the wonderful servers. The staff are super friendly but with the open kitchen, it’s clear that the slow service is from the kitchen. I found the food pretty basic and didn’t seem like very much of it was in-house made. I’d suggest coming here for cocktails only but the ambience is awesome."
