"Pheee-nominal! We went on a whim after a google search. We were NOT disappointed! From the chips & guac appetizer to the southwest egg rolls (sounds weird but trust me- try them!), the steak and the carne tacos, everything was top notch! And ermagerd get the churro ice cream! Ryan was a great server as well- fun personality, didn’t mess up anything on our order and gave great suggestions. We generally don’t go back to many restaurants (trying them aaaaalll before we go back twice), but we went back here twice in a week already!"

"Visited on a Friday, just in time for the 6pm happy hour cutoff. Despite a 20-25 minute wait (no reservations accepted), the start was almost glitch-free. A helpful male host assured us our table was next. However, a slight hiccup ensued when the female host almost gave our table away to customers behind us. Management could use a tweak here to ensure smoother beginnings. Making the most of our wait, we perused the menu. Once seated, we kicked off with Ghost Ranch Margaritas (smaller than usual but tasty) and the Spicy Sandia. The Street Style Esquites starter, surrounded by tortilla chips, looked impressive. While the Oaxaca cheese and a need for more Tajin held it back, it still fell short of top-notch. The Sampler Platter from the Wood Fired Grill stole the show. Skirt steak cooked to perfection, flavorful sauce, and enchiladas bursting with unique flavors. Even the chile relleno was a tasty addition. However, the Chimayo Chile Braised Pork seemed bland post-Sampler Platter explosion. A modern twist could elevate this dish. The side of veggies missed the mark with a burnt broccoli taste. Unfortunately, everything arrived simultaneously, making the taco dish lukewarm by the time we got to it. Despite this, the concept won us over. The ambiance, though noisy, exuded warmth and trendiness. Our server was good, but due to the bustling atmosphere, we had to seek help from other staff. Parking was easy for those who enjoy a bit of a walk. *All most forgot this, they need an authentic hot sauce, something like an in-house habanero sauce. All in all, definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for more. Cheers"

"I came here for my birthday celebration this evening. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and I enjoyed every moment! The restaurant itself is a tad noisy because it's a busy place, and I think if they used a few more soft/sound absorbing items in the restaurant it would be very helpful. Loved this place and the dining experience!"

"I had high expectations but was very disappointed. It's a bit pricey for the portion size. The Aztec cake was good but not great for the price. Sandwich was a snack portion . Atmosphere nice, but the rave reviews are misleading. Don't believe the hype this place is comfortable, but the food is just ok, and it is very overpriced and not very authentic. Want great food? Go to Casa Corazon instead. You won't be disappointed"

"What a delicious surprise. Chips came with some amazing salsas and guacamole, and our entrees were even better. The Aztec Cake is my new favorite! The homemade churro ice cream sandwich was perfection and enough for a few people. Can't wait to go back for more!"
