"All of the employees at Tanque averse Bear Canyon/Catalina Highway we’re delightful, diligent and went above and beyond even on a busy day before Thanksgiving. Tracy took special care and attention to ensure I had the best price and products to make my husband sweet potato casserole and it made the world to me. The check out lady ( I wish I checked her name) was patient in counting my change as I purchased my products. The employees at Starbucks were pleasant despite long lines due to the holiday season and me only ordering a water. The lady in the bakery was also kind enough to recommend products and connect me to other professionals in the store. I can tell this store has a well working team that cares despite being away from their own family and friends. I appreciate this Safeway and the employees that make it run. Thank you for making my day!"

"A typical shopping experience with no problems or issues until time to check out, when I chose self checkout due to the long line for assisted checkout with an employee. I picked a self checkout register right next to the Safeway employeee who monitors the self checkout machines. She stood next to me for most of the process and then interrupted when the machine started flashing a light whereas she scuttled over to see what 'problem I had caused'. When she, in fact, saw I had done nothing wrong, she proceeded to tell me that cameras see everything and that my movements scanning items, bagging them, and putting them in the cart had triggered the machine as I had possibly taken things I hadn't rung up and wasn't going to pay for. ABSOLUTELY OFFENSIVE. I don't want to do their job, and I don't want to be suspected or accused of theft. Her suspicious, paranoid mind has no business at that job and she is in immediate need of retraining. Approximately 3:00 pm, Friday, November 10th, at the 9125 E Tanque Verde, Tucson location."

"Nicely stocked grocery store in the Tanque Verde area of Tucson. Watch for the Five Dollar Fridays, other than that they are on the expensive side."

"I went to this supermarket in Bear Canyon because I called Safeway and asked if it was a dog-friendly place or if only service dogs were allowed. They told me I could bring him, that there was no problem. When I got there, a man who was just a customer told me I couldn't bring the dog. He went and complained to the gossiping man with the manager. The manager approached me and made me leave the supermarket. I will never go back; he was very rude. Despite explaining that I had called and asked if I could bring him, he didn't care. My puppy is only 3 months old, a baby dog. I had the worst experience. It made me feel very embarrassed, it was the worst experience for me because the people who were there noticed I would have never gone to that place with my puppy if they had told me it wasn't allowed. In fact, other supermarkets like Fry's, I called as well and they said I could bring him. I've never had any issues, just like in other places. He embarrassed me and took advantage because I am a woman."

"Its a run of the mill grocery store. Its a very busy store and doesn't seem staffed or sized appropriately. The self check out today wouldn't let me complete my check out and a clerk approached and said the video shows that I was putting items in bags without scanning them. We reviewed the video and I had to pull my items out of the bags. It was clear I did scan everything. The Safeway at Broadway and Houghton is further away but so much nicer. Its larger, better staffed and less busy."
