"Can we all hear Moira Rose saying, "ube-bébé" or is it just me? I've been here a few times now, and I gotta say, they're pretty good. I've had all sorts of items: Ube milk shake, ube milk tea, ube crinkle, ube tres leche, sea salt coffee, green rose milk tea... And all were pretty great. It's no secret that their ube items are the star of this place, and if you haven't tried this vibrant purple root vegetable yet, I suggest you give an ube item a try! What a great place! I wouldn't hesitate to pop in for a drink or even a sweet treat ."
"Cafe 86 really kicks desserts up a culinary notch! The ube & turon pop tarts were more like pastries filled to the brim, just sweet enough without being overly sugary in any way. The ube cheesecake tasted like creamy ube heaven. And the halo halo dessert was cold, creative and combined fun flavors. Each individual dessert rates 5+ stars in my book! Plus this place is really cute. Will be returning soon!"
"The Chamoy Cali-Mango slush was really good! The Ube in Truffle and Cheesecake were also great. I’ve only tried Ube in ice cream, cookies and jam in the past, so trying it in some other pastries was an interesting take. It did get a little crowded inside after we ordered and could use some additional seating. Not an issue if taking out, however. Would definitely recommend for Ube fans!"
