Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

"Kneaders was just "meh". The chicken salad was bland and boring. The broccoli cheese soup was the best thing about our meal. Took home a babka, and it was not great, very dry, and fell apart."

"My husband and I walked into Kneaders on 2/12 about 5:30 PM to have a quick bite before a meeting in the area. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We waited patiently for almost 10 minutes while the girl behind the counter walked back and forth between the drive up window cash register and the back kitchen at least twice without even acknowledging that we were standing there. I then spoke up and said excuse me…. She then said that she would be over there in a minute. The problem here is that she completely ignored us without said one word, nor did she even look our way! How rude!! I’m surprised because I have visited that location a couple of times in the past without having any issues! I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Too many other great sandwich shops in the area!"

"Went in this morning for the first time to grab some food for my son who wasn't feeling well and saw an ad for the mac and cheese. Took about 5 minutes for someone to come take our order when there was no one else in line. Was also told that they didn't have any mac and cheese today. So I got him and myself a sandwich to go, $25 later. We waited about 30 minutes for our food before my son asked me to get a refund so we could go home. As I was getting up, our food came out. 30 minutes for two sandwiches? I understand things happen, you're short staffed, busy (which they were not at the time) etc..I am a manager at a restaurant myself, but if this was the case then I should of been made aware of that at the register before placing a to go order so I had the option to go forward with it or not. Fast forward to opening up the sandwiches at home and to say that I was less then impressed is an understatement. I ordered a tuna melt. So when I think tuna melt I think cheese, tuna bread. What I received was probably a heaping table spoon of seasoned tuna on each slice of bread and that was it. The sandwich was more bread then anything, I essentially paid $12 for 2 slices of bread cut in half. My son wanted the chicken, cheese and ham after finding out there wasn't any mac and cheese and got more condiments and veggies on his sandwich then he did protein. His sandwich ended up going in the trash and I picked on the bread in my sandwich because that was the only good and salvable part. Definitely no where close to being worth $25 and will more then likely not return to this location."

"On a slow Saturday, 30 minutes to get food that wasn’t correct. Usually impressed by this restaurant so I’m not sure if it’s the staff or what but today was embarrassingly bad. Not a total waste of $20 but certainly not a great experience this time around. Hopefully things will get better."

"Admittedly, this was my first time trying this restaurant. For $7.43, I received a cool-ish coffee, and a not so good Almond Danish. You see there is no steam coming from the coffee."
