Paulie's Little Bite of Italy

"Had never been here, but loved the group providing the live music so we made our reservations and set out for a new adventure. The place was packed which I take as a good sign. However, in the rush of things, the wait staff jostled the table they were preparing for us and caused a huge spill all over the booth seating, including hot wax everywhere. After picking everything up and clearly seeing the mess, they walked off. Nearly 5 minutes later we were still standing there, unable to be seated due to the conditions of the seat. The floor was a mess but that was no issue in the moment because it was wax on carpet, sadly. We had other friends that had reservations as well that suggested we just all sit together. For reasons I cannot fathom, this set off the person seating them that we later discovered was the owner. I have never witnessed anyone working in a restaurant yelling and berating customers as this man did. I even quietly leaned in and tried to de escalate the situation which drew even more dramatic behavior. Had we not been there to support the group playing, we would have left, never to return. I can’t speak to the quality of the food because the overall experience was so bad. Others did leave because it made them so uncomfortable! If you choose to go here, maybe try lunch or sit outside. We won’t risk it again"

"My wife and I made reservations for a Saturday night when our friends were playing music. It was our first time, and could very well be our last. When they went to seat us, the hostess knocked the salt, pepper, cheese, pepper flakes and a lit candle off to the floor. The wax from the candle went all over the carpet and the bench seating. We asked that it be cleaned up before we sat down as we didn’t want wax all over our clothes. The guy who was helping us threw a huge fit and was extremely rude to my wife. We ended up sitting with another couple that we knew who was there. Come to find out, the guy who ruined the experience was the owner, Paulie. I’m sorry, but his actions and comments were completely uncalled for. He obviously is not worried about offending new customers or interested in repeat customers. We were so looking forward to a great time of food and music. We nearly walked out. Unbelievable and truly unfortunate. Really put a damper on the evening. Even if the food is good, we will not be treated that way again. He should not be in the hospitality business."

"This was our first time here but we will definitely be back! The food is amazing! I had the chicken marsala and my husband had the 3 meat pasta. So delicious!! We really enjoyed the band too.( The Hallelujah Blues Band) Great date night!! Thank you!"

"We[ 4]arrived at noon, 6 people were seated, 2 waiting tables, took 15 minutes to take our drink orders. 1 hour to get our food. They would not turn the music down, very expensive for what you get. One meatball and maybe a 1 cup of pasta $12.95. will not return"

"The works pizza was soo good. They use real sausage not hamburger meat. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. This place is phenomenal I highly recommend it"
