"Dinner this evening decided to try some starters and a salad. The Frito Misto was 90% carrots with hardly a scallop or calamari. The whole dish was a clump of deep fried carrots. The Waldorf salad was 5 star. Definitely recommended as well as the steak bites. Service was prompt and efficient. Should have stuck with the favourite meat loaf."

"When I first moved to Surprise in late 2020, I found this restaurant. I was impressed by the service, menu options, and ambiance. Now after 3 years of visiting, the best things about this restaurant are the old fashioned cocktails and the vogue burger (when cooked right). The young employees spend a lot of time of their phones or chatting it up by the hostess stand or in the pass through area between the kitchen and the bar. The menu hasn’t changed in 3 years and it seems as if the owners are satisfied with not living up to their reputation and staying relevant. There are hard workers at the restaurant but I don’t believe they get the necessary feedback or appreciation from the manager or owners. Lastly, the manager, I don’t know her name but she’s tall and has red hair. I’ve witnessed her walk into the restaurant and not speak to any of the customers and she’s selective about the employees she interacts with, that’s not leadership. When she does speak, she comes across as being very condescending and matter of fact. If she’s having an issue with an employee, the customers shouldn’t know about it, yet I’ve heard her distaste for other employees in the past. Her attempts to be friendly appear to be forced and fake in my opinion. This is all feedback and in no way an attempt to have someone reprimanded, I’m simply highlighting what I’ve witnessed personally. Christin, I think she’s primarily a bartender, is always pleasant and attentive when I’ve visited. Customers seem to gravitate towards her positive energy and she remembers the regulars. The only reason I remember her is because of her positive attitude. Being kind seems to be her norm and I appreciate it. Oh and lastly, there’s a young lady with purple or blue hair who is a hostess. She’s very attentive and professional when she interacts with customers, whether it’s on the phone or in person. Her professionalism is top tier!"

"We're always looking for new places to try! Several have raved about this place posted on surprise restaurant groups, so we thought we would try it out. Sat outside, which was very well heated. I was impressed how warm it was being it was in the 40s outside. Service was decent. Drinks did take a while to come out, which they weren't very busy for this to happen. They were really good when they did arrive. I started with lobster bisque, and he had side salad. Started it really good! Dinner I ordered the vouge steak and him the meatloaf. Well, that's when I got really disappointed. I should have taken photos. His meatloaf was bigger than my steak. The sauce on everything was overloaded. The steak was rough and dry. The people next to us thought out plates were swapped because of how the pieces of meat look. I was really upset by the quality of this. Tables are super close to one another. I understand it's a small place. We basically had dinner with the people next to us. Dinner for 2 became dinner for 4. Which we all left exchanging numbers. Ordered the creme Brule, ib should have sent it back. It was horrible. The last next to me, I had her try it, and she said it tasted like soap. I ended up giving her husband the dessert. All in all, cozy place, it can be better. I do not think it's worth the price for what you get."

"I had a GREAT lunch today at Vogue Bistro! What a hidden gem in Surprise! My friend suggested it as it's a favorite spot of hers and it was fantastic! Our server was Kristen and she was so friendly, helpful and attentive! I had the tuna tower--it was fresh and delicious and the chef's special flatbread was savory and perfect! For desert we both had the bread pudding! It was so good I see us stopping in just for that! I'll definitely be back as the menu had quite a few other dishes I want to try--lots of seafood which I prefer."

"This place has gone so far downhill. I had two firsts tonight. I’ve never sent a meal back and I sent back the shrimp risotto because I had trouble cutting the shrimp with a steak knife. Was pretty sure the shrimp had been on the grill since they opened. It only has three shrimp so I figured they could try again. The second first was I wouldn’t eat the remake as it was just as bad as the first. The server offered another dish and I passed. The old fashioned drinks were the best part of the meal as they were great, followed by the chocolate cake, that it turns out they don’t actually make! My husband’s steak was missing the salt so an $80 bill for Denny’s quality food. We won’t be back!"
