La Chingada Cocina Mexicana

"Absolutely love this fun delicious Mexican Restaurant.. Ordered some chips and salsa $4.99 not complimentary but worth it, big bowl of lightly seasoned chips with salsa packed full of flavor..had the Mango Mexican Margarita it was beyond amazing and with tahini rim and Mexican candy.. my husband and I shared the combination plate with birra cheese taco, enchiladas and tamales, we added one extra taco and with the chia it was plenty for the 2 of us.. the enchilada is out of this world! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very festive, bright and cherry. They have table and booth options with a very cute decor outside patio… they had some music playing in the background and I hear certain nights of the week. They do have some mariachis and a singer looking forward to catching that one night as well. Highly recommend bringing out of town guests here…. or celebrating a special occasion hitting something downtown make this your restaurant to stop at.."

"Everything about this experience was amazing I cannot recommend it enough. The atmosphere felt welcoming, service was beyond expectations and the food was not only delicious but also beautiful. I don't do many reviews like this unless I am absolutely wowed. As a person born in Mexico and moved to the United States I felt so welcome and felt almost at home. Yamilet was an amazing waitress and always worried for my needs and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend a visit."

"It's weird. It feels kinda like a restaurant that's trying to be hip and cool, if what was hip and cool was decided by corporate executives. It seems more a space for an event dinner rather than just a dinner. Like, it's bright. And loud. Looks great on Insta. You want a place to celebrate a birthday with sparklers and tequila shots, this is the place. If you want a nice dinner, though, then it might not be the spot for you."

"Service was a little slow, but they got slammed. Service was good, however. The food was awesome. The chicken tortilla soup had a red base, but was very tasty. We will definitely be back! And that flan... wow!! I added photos, but they may look a little strange given the red lighting. In the evening, they have colored lighting for ambiance. The chicken tortilla soup, for instance, had very nice avocados. The pic makes them look kind of brown. They definitely were not!"

"A very interesting restaurant and bar in downtown Tucson! We visited near Halloween, and they had designed the restaurant to have creepy vibes, which we loved! We sat outside, and given that it was outside, the ground was not very sanitary (here were certain bugs on the ground). As for the food, it was definitely above average. The presentation of it was much better than the quality and the taste, but that is not to say that was bad. The food was good, but not the best quality. Additionally, if you would want to make modifications to the food, such as not receiving your nachos with the dressing, they will not allow that; no modifications allowed. Our waitress, however, was kind and helpful. This was an overall decent experience."
