"First time was great, but had several unpleasant surprises this time. Our kids were greatly distressed when they discovered that the ice cream machine was no longer there, it had been removed completely. One of my favorite menu items, the fried onions, are no longer on the menu at all. When we came to the counter to order, they told us my second favorite menu item, the cheesy spinach, had run out for the day (at 1pm). We got the brisket, and all of us found it unusually dry. Sad that things seem to have gone downhill fast."
"First time going here. I must say the staff was excellent. The food was exceptional. The brisket was off the chain. As well as the sides. Definitely would recommend trying this place."
"I used to love taking the family here but the last few months it has gone down hill fast they run out of some of the sides 3 hours before closing but the main problem I have is the bad smell, very bad smell it use to be just the restrooms smelled like backed up sewer but the last two times we went it spread to the whole restaurant. I mentioned it to the employees but they don't seem to care. It's too bad I love that place I hope they fix it."
"The food is amazing. The price is not so amazing. Don't waste your time trying to get deals from email or the app because the Thornydale location doesn't exist online or in the app. If that wasn't the case, the price could be lowered with coupons and deals. The catering service is top-notch. Kids eat free on Sunday, and everyone gets free soft serve every day. The daily deals are just okay. Prices aside I highly recommend Dickie's BBQ to anyone especially barbecue lovers."
"I have been to several locations across the US and this place sticks to the recipe. The food was fresh, and tasted amazing as always. If you have never been to Dickeys, I would highly recommend checking them out. I prefer the 2 meat plate which cost around $13 offering two meat types, two sides, and your choice of bread. This location offered quick service with no wait. The staff was friendly and seemed to care about the customers. The restaurant was also very clean and tidy."
