Sonic Drive-In

"8:30-8:36 ordered a peanut butter banana shake large and a cookie dough blast medium putting what I ordered and what time my order was from so it’s easier to know who took my order, I asked for a recipe so I could see the servers name but they never gave me one I think cuz they knew why I wanted it Shakes were good but…… girl I’m the drive threw window speaker had a bad attitude, when we pulled up to the drive up screen it was an instant rude you can order whenever, she then kept saying a rude k after every item we’d say, then when we were finally done she rudely said our order total then disconnected no have a nice day or even telling us to pull up, I understand everyone has bad days but if your having on stay home don’t go to work and just be rude to people."

"My green chilie cheese burger was bad. I didn't notice the smell of the meat till I had eaten half of it. As soon as I smelled the awful smell I wrapped it up and threw it away. But we were half way home by then. So I couldn't go tell them. And 1 hour later I got the worse stomach ache ever. Then chills then I threw up 4 times.And it was the burger I was throwing up. I have never had food poisoning before but that was it and definetly not fun! We have eaten at Sonic a lot of times and never had a problem. We have always enjoyed their food! The service was great. The food was brought out within minutes of our order!"

"It started out being great food years ago. I went yesterday and was very disappointed. The onion rings were overcooked and tasted like old oil in the fryer. The burger was sloppy, lettuce looked wilted and just didn't feel fresh. There were lights out and the menus were gone. It's turned into a ghost of itself. I hope they're renovating but still doesn't explain the current quality of the food."

"The CUSTOMER SERVICE was TERRIBLE  at this location. After placing my order, I had to wait for 20 minutes before receiving any response from the staff. When I asked again, they told me the ice machine had not worked for a day. This happened twice in one week, and I felt that the staff were not taking my concerns seriously. If the ice machine is not working, they should put up a sign to inform customers. Hardly any customers ( one customer at that time ) in sonic. I was disappointed with the service and do not plan to return."

"We are long time fans of Sonic. Today, at the Thornydale Sonic we had the worst quality food we have ever had. Corn dogs were so burned that the coating was so dark, crusty, cracked and missing exposing a burned hot dog that was so tough it couldn't be bitten! There is no way that a cook would not see that horrible quality of an item when putting it in the sleeve and not willingly make the decision to give a customer disgusting product. And the blast we ordered was supposed to be a Heath blast - instead it was was vanilla soup, pure liquid and a sprinkle of Heath on the top. Again, the maker knew exactly the quality of product they were giving to the customer. This is clearly a management issue in not supervising the employees work or quality and having employees that clearly don't care about the product. This was disgusting. When the drive through order was placed it was twice the actual price - which we had to educate the employee that the items we ordered were a certain (correct) amount and there was swirl trying to figure out simple math! And there is a sign on the door that says you can't go in the area "employees only." So you can't even get the attention of a manager (if there is one). Sad. This place used to be good."
