"It is very difficult to find vegan ice cream in big cities, much less a small town. I have been working in the ice cream industry for the last two years and I have very high standards. I got the vegan vanilla ice cream (made with oat milk and soy milk) and it was fantastic! It was so light, fluffy, and very vanilla-y, paired very well with my fruity pebbles. It was a beautiful mix as well. I also tried the horchata, the tiramisu, and the jack sparrow. All three were incredible and tasted true to the real thing, especially the tiramisu! I have never had a tiramisu ice cream as delightful as this one. I highly recommend Licks!"

"A friend recommended this place to me as a potential caterer for my wedding. We made the venture to go try their ice cream. It was way more north than I expected and a bit hard to find after the sun went down. I expressed that to one of the workers and they did let me know they’ve tried to put lights on their signs out near the road but people keep stealing them. I appreciated the fact that they recognize it’s hard location to spot if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. The worker was very kind in being patient with me while I asked questions about the menu. I sampled the Chai Tea Ice cream because it was such a peculiar flavor and It was delicious. I ended up choosing their signature cookie crumble ice cream and it was delicious. Overall, the atmosphere was so welcoming and I love the design of the interior. The employees were fantastic and the ice cream is delicious!"
