"It's tough finding Mexican food in Tucson AZ. Coming from southern California will do that to you...the bar is high and 9 out of 10 times Tucson will dissapoint. Until I found this little gem. Usually I'm telling people that the worst places in Cali are better than what Tucson has to offer. But this place really knocked it out of the park. Mexican red rice paired with delicious refried beans and topped with cotija cheese. Cotija cheese! (Other "Mexican" restaurants need to take notes.) The menu had legitimate Mexican dishes and some fan favorites to accommodate the masses. The wife and I ordered the sopes and they were delicious. The salsa that came with them could use a little work but that's just my preference. I like my food to have a little kick with every bite."
"Food was amazing. Angelina our waitress was so sweet and informative. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. This was our first time here, living 10 minutes away for 3 years, we are upset at ourselves for not coming sooner!"
"We had the waitresses 2 favorite meal. They were excellent. Very flavorful and hot. The salsa was some of the best we’ve had, got a pint to go. Clean and fast but not rushed. No room for dessert so we’ll have to come back. We have already told people about it. Great job."
"I’ve been coming here a long time. The food has always been top-notch The Customer Service has been top-notch. I will keep coming back, and I have even brought my own mother here. She didn’t know what to get and they recommended something and she finished everything on her plate. I can’t say more about this place. If you get a chance you need to come here plus now they have a seafood boil Louisiana style so it even gets better. Update: as I can’t leave another comment… Taqueria 2 Hermanos has the best Paloma’s in Tucson and to boot it on there Happy hour menu from 2-5 The wife and I come here every week. Their tacos are divine, the staff is always friendly. I could go on and on about how special this place is. We highly recommend. Come down and join on Tuesday, we will be here unless we are out of town what is this? Francisco has always treated us with a smile and a great personality. So if you come by tell him Robert&Alison told you to come by"
