"Never will go back Tavolino ever again. My husband and I decided to go there after visiting the Desert Museum. We showed up to the restaurant and the 2 hostesses gave us a look based off what we were wearing. Asked if we had reservations, which we didn't. So they sat us at the bar. The bartender had the same attitude with us because we weren't dressed appropriately. We ordered appetizers and some wine to start off. We were all done with our appetizers and still had our menus. The bartender never checked up on us (and it wasn't busy at the time). We had to ask him if we could order some dinner plates. My husband's wine glass was empty but the bartender never asked if he wanted more wine. Again. Had to ask for more wine. The attitude and service we received based off what we were wearing wasn't merited. My husband and I are upper middle class. I drive a Maserati. We could easily afford anything that's provided at that restaurant. We will never go back to this restaurant where the staff treat people based off appearances."

"This place was fantastic. Loved the food and drinks. Their appetizers are the real stars here. The bruschetta burrata e carciofini was incredible. Their meat slicer was having issues so we couldn't add prosciutto but it was still amazing nonetheless. We also had the carciofi alla griglia which was insanely good. That aioli is amazing. I even used it with the homemade complementary bread which, while looking plain and unassuming, was the lightest bread I've ever had. We also had the tavolino lemon drop which was a really nice cocktail. For a salad, we both got the insalata de panzanella which I was really disappointed about. They chop up the tomatoes like salsa. That ruined the salad for me personally. I got the tortelloni al pomodoro and he got the lasagna al forno. Both were mediocre. Everything but the entrees and salad were amazing. The music and service were great and they gave us extra bread to go for free. The cheese was great and they gave it to us in a pre grated bowl. While this place is very expensive, I will be coming back at least for the appetizers."

"Despite reading all of the bad reviews, I will now let everyone know that they were absolutely wrong! This place rocks! I am from NY. I know what to expect from Italian restaurants. This place is it! First, the service was great. The waiter introduced himself,and I immediately knew he was going to take care of us. He did! Anything we asked for,he made sure we had. Second, the food and drinks were great. And third, the desert was very, very tasty. I. Can't wait to go there again ."

"Since I was doing some business in Tucson, I thought I would try this place out. I sat at the bar and ordered from Brandon. Very nice guy friendly helpful. Their bread tasted fresh. I ordered the seafood pasta it it had shrimp, scallops, calamari, and there was some fish in there. I sprinkled a little red pepper to have a spicy sauce. The sauce had a nice flavor. And one of my things when I go somewhere I hope to get a really good iced tea. This tea was good as well. I asked Brandon how the tiramisu was. He said it's great we make it fresh everyday. And he was right it was excellent."
