Los Olivos

"WOW. If not the best it’s close… but it may be the best pizza in Tucson. This place is the definition of a sleeper. Straightforward cheese and pepperoni, outstanding. Sauce has a unique flavor. Crust was excellent. And the wings… simple but WOW. Order them hot, but it’s not hot like most places. The sauce is homemade, and incredible. It’s sort of a bbq sauce with a bit of zing but not spicy at all. The wings were fried perfectly, and came out of the fryer on to the plate and on to our table well sauced and steaming. I was shocked by this place. Before eating here there was 1 place I’d take friends from out of town… now I have two places. Los Olivos is that good."

"I’ve driven past this place fifty times and always wanted to stop and try it. Well I finally did and it was not a disappointment . I really like this pepperoni pizza. The flavor was authentic and fresh. The crust was great. They offer Mexican cokes which are my favorite drink. I will be back soon to try some more of their food!!"

"What a great restaurant! We loved the pizza! We got the 10-inch pepperoni pizza deal and a 14-inch pepperoni pizza. My friend who got the 10-inch said that the 14-inch was better haha. Either way, it was great pizza, though it was a little oily, but that was probably the pepperoni. They have some add-on stuff on the table, like parmesan, red pepper flakes, and some dried herbs. The service was great, she was on top of it all."

"I consider myself a Pizza expert having grown up in Chicago so know good pizza and bad pizza. This was my first visit and I was HIGHLY impressed! I loved the atmosphere and wish I could have eaten there. They had the perfect music playing for an Italian restaurant, think classic old world lounge. Tables were spaced nicely and decor was pleasing. I ordered 2 slices and added on 2 ingredients per slice. Price wise, it was perfect. Nowhere in town offers this quality for the price. After plowing down both slices I sighed because I wish I had 2 more! The crust and sauce were both excellent. The crust was thin and fairly crispy and thankfully not overly soft/doughy. The amount of cheese was PERFECT and exactly how I would make pizza from scratch if I could. You aren't drowning in cheese here which is something I really enjoyed, again, the amount was PERFECT. The vegetables on my slices were also cut and cooked perfectly. Cooked but not overly and still with some crispness. YUM!! I'm instantly a fan and will be returning many MANY times in the future. My only recommendations are an updated website, some marketing and a strong social media presence. With that in place, this business could expand BIG TIME and become a very successful nation pizza brand."
