"We had a very special birthday to celebrate and I called the Yuma location ahead of time to see if they could accommodate a large group of us. Spoke to the Manager, Alfredo, and he was very kind and polite and assured us we would be well taken care of. The morning of, we were greeted with wonderful servers. Our large group was very lucky to have Nicole as our server. She was absolutely awesome and always made sure we were doing great and was on top of everything. Plus, our breakfast was delicious. It was our first time at BBD for most of the group, so we all left with having an amazing experience. Alfredo and Nicole, thank you for your kindness and making this day extra special. You guys rock!"

"First time in this restaurant based on a recommendation. The four of us were looked after by Scott who patiently waited for us to order between us catching up on each other. Service was great! Meals were unanimously enjoyed by our group without exception. A big thank you to Scott for letting us sit there for hours while we drank coffee and caught up. A definite return for us!!"

"We have been to other B B Diner's. Lodge style building takes you away to a mountain like retreat. All are very good. This is my new favorite. Food Excellent. Service Excellent. Atmosphere Excellent. This location has more outside decor. Fast, friendly, and hot fresh delicious food."

"We love Black Bear Diner!! We have been going to the one in Gilbert AZ for years! I was so happy to see that they opened one in Yuma!! We came here with some friends on the way back from the sand dunes. Our server's name was Scott and he was awesome! They were able to get us right in and that awe great! The portions are huge! You can definitely share each plate with 2 people. I ordered the por boy Omelet. And my daughter ordered the mini volcano and my buddy ordered the chicken fried steak. There was 10 people in our group so I don't remember all the dishes. All in all the food was good! The problem is that is was not great. Everything needed salt and pepper except the French Toast. I did enjoy the fried jalapenos. They were super hot!! Add some seasoning to the food and you could be 5 stars!!"
