"Great stop just outside of the park for dinner! They were accommodating to a larger party; note that they don’t accept reservations. The portions were generous and the drinks were good. We really enjoyed the spicy margaritas and the shrimp tacos. Much of the menu is gluten free and the servers were knowledgeable about celiac."

"We ate here two different nights on our recent visit to Zion. The first night my husband got the chicken enchiladas and I got the shrimp tacos with a side salad. The two tacos each had 5 or 6 nice sized shrimp. The flavor was good and it was very filling. Glad I had the side salad. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas a lot. The second time my husband got the burrito and it was quite large which was good because we had hiked all day and he was hungry. I got the Chile rellano made with goat cheese. Not only was it delicious but it was beautiful too. I had rice and beans and used those to soak up the extra sauce. Then we had the tres leches with vanilla cake which was also quite good. The staff was very friendly and a special shout out to Gaby who gave us great recommendations. Lots of places were closed due to the time of year so it was great to have a wonderful place to eat in the off season."

"Stopped in for dinner after a long day in the park. The place was decent and had a good vibe. We got a table for 6 and were seated fairly quickly. Food was decent and our waitress was friendly. The strawberry jalapeño margs were good too but they come in a small cocktail glass priced at 14 bucks. (We would not have ordered these for that price, my fault for not asking ahead of time) My wife loved the goat cheese relleno Overall, it’s a typical dinner spot for a high tourism location"

"My mom and I decided to eat here while on our 10 day road trip during our stop at Zion National Park based on reviews, and they definitely were not wrong! The restaurant has an amazing view of Zion Canyon if you sit outside, and is covered from the sun. Our waiter, Jesus, was friendly and personable, never made us feel rushed, and gave great recommendations. We started with chips, salsa, and guacamole, but the guacamole was definitely not fresh or homemade, it tasted like it was scooped out of a larger jar/container. I had the carne asada tacos and overall they were okay, but needed some sort of sauce to tie it all together, because it was mostly steak with minimal slaw inside. My mom had the chile relleno and loved hers! Our favorite things, however, were the margaritas we ordered. I had the strawberry and my mom had the coconut and we both could have had an entire pitcher of them! It was a little pricey, but what can you expect when it is right outside of a national park! Overall, the views were amazing, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were amazing. If I ever returned, I would probably order something different to eat and skip the appetizers!"

"Whiptail Grill is absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of eating here with some friends and we all raved about how amazing the food is. Jesus took care of us throughout our lunch and was impactful in our menu perusing. He made recommendations that were thoughtfully tailored to our tastes. This food is art! Stunning displays of culinary perfection. High quality food with flavors that will have you yearning for more. Highly recommend eating here."
