Hanigan Memorial Park - Dog Park

"Small and never anyone they're but always well kept and still a great place for my pupper to run around."

"For such a small town they have an awesome dog park. Lots of green area for running and playing. I’m not sure when but they added something like a dog obstacle course, my dogs refused to entertain me with the different obstacles but it is a great addition to the dog park. A big thing I like about this dog park is the people that bring their animals to the park. It is like a little community with everyone taking turns taking, filling and returning the water jugs that have been collected/donated. This helps all of us be able to keep the water bowls, that are sitting under the nice shade tree, get filled with clean water. There is also lots of dog toys that have been left or donated. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there is ALWAYS room for improvements, in all things in life."

"Good spot to let the dogs play, the bad part was a few people brought in dogs that charged our dogs and were aggressive and owner just sat there while we tried to get out the gates. Public use means control your pets and don't act like your the only person there."

"I enjoyed meeting people and my dog liked it too. Nice that people left jugs of water because there is no water plumbed in. Seems like they could have a water spigot."

"Cute little obstacle course, all fenced in, poop bags provided, benches for the owners... one happy family! It's actually quite a bit more than we expected for the area."
